At last Thursday’s June Derby Chamber of Commerce Luncheon, representatives from Derby, Kansas City Hall shared updates on summer events, community projects, and improvements happening throughout Derby. Attendees learned about the 15th Annual Smoke on the Plains BBQ & Music Fest, recent improvements at High Park, and the nearly completed Decarsky Park project.

🔥 The Smokin' Sampler is THIS SATURDAY, June 13! 🔥

Join us at the Smoke on the Plains BBQ & Music Fest for the inaugural Smokin' Sampler!

Beginning at 6:00 pm, guests can purchase a $5 sampler plate and visit 11 Chamber member booths, each serving a unique BBQ-inspired sample. Sampler plates are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

The Smokin’ Sampler tent is located at High Park between the amphitheater and splash pad, in the same tent location used for the People’s Choice competition on Friday and Kid's Corner activities on Saturday morning. Look for the large red banner that reads "Smokin’ Sampler - Derby Chamber of Commerce".
