🙌🏼🙌🏼 Update- as of this morning we have been able to meet this meeting entirely. Thank you so much to each and every person who has given to make it possible. If you still feel led to give, anything given from here will go to help with two other major surgeries that happened within our sponsorship program that have not been funded yet.

❤️ HELP US HELP ONE OF OUR EMM FAMILIES
Recently, this little cutie patootie (Melvin’s daughter) Melina decided she would give a tiny watch battery a taste. 😬 Unfortunately, she swallowed it, and it became lodged in her throat.
What followed was much more serious than expected. Melina had to undergo surgery to have the battery removed and then spent 10 days in the hospital while doctors closely monitored her and gave her esophagus time to heal. During that time, she wasn’t able to eat or drink and had to receive nutrition through an IV.
We are so thankful that Melina is doing well! 🙌❤️ But her surgery and hospital stay left the family with a medical bill of approximately $2,600.
If you don’t know Melvin, he works with Extra Mile Missions in Honduras and is a huge part of what we do there. He is truly one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet — always willing to help, always making people laugh, and always bringing a little extra fun wherever he goes. 😊
Now we have an opportunity to come alongside Melvin and his family during their time of need.
