‼️WE DESPERATELY NEED KITTEN FOOD‼️

Supporters, followers, random feed watchers: We are hoping this post reaches the right people! From all of our emergency intakes and shelter pulls, we have over 50 kittens in our care right now😳 They all go through food like we’re in a real life Hunger Games with no test but to see who can eat the most😅 Any kitten food is appreciated and will go to good use! We can also always use thinks like clumping clay litter, pine pellets, and adult wet food!

Thank you all in advance for being PAWsome and helping our tummies stay full😻

Goldie is an indoor/outdoor cat. She is black with beautiful gold eyes, 9yo, spayed & microchipped. The new home her current owner is moving to has FIV+ outdoor cats and she doesn’t want to expose Goldie to it.

🏠Goldie loves being outside, but she’s very much a personable gal and wants attention and affection. She knows her name, she’s super sweet and vocal. She is good with cats and lives with a couple indoor kitties.

❤️‍🩹Goldie can NOT be an outdoor-only or barn cat. She thrives with attention and affection and just likes to explore. Please understand that if you take her in, you’ll need to get her settled in to the home first prior to giving her any outside access.

‼️Rescue Disclaimer: We do NOT allow our cats to be adopted and go outdoors, and we do not think it’s the safest option for them. That being said, this is a courtesy post and is separate from our rescue.

From her owner:

Goldie is very loving on her terms. She loves to be outside and will come in for meals. Her love fest are in the morning after breakfast. Sometimes she will stay inside for a nap or go back outside. Goldie knows when it’s time for lunch and dinner. She will show up. Goldie tolerates other animals. She has never been around children. It takes her awhile to warm up to someone. Goldie does know how to use a litter box when she comes in for the winter months. Which by the way, you have to talk her into it. Tell her no a few times and she will settle down. Goldie likes to drink water out of the bathroom sink and also sleep in the bathroom sink. She’s not a demanding girl. She’s very independent. I love her very much but she will not be happy as an apartment girl.

The USS Jeannetter Maddox is the Wichita chapter of Starfleet International, the World's largest Star Trek fan club. Each President has the option to select a charity for their term to support. We love that the current President is a HUGE support of STK and kitties in general!
