We are asking people to help us by helping the Delaware River Basin Commission by completing the attached survey. We are working with them trying to have the water classification of Big Timber Creek changed from Level 2, Incidental contact to Level 1 Swimmable. Help us help them by completing the survey.

We finally finished planting our Pollinator Garden funded by the Hardy Plant Society . The first picture is an assortment of pollinator flowering plants. Each will bloom at a different time, giving the pollinators food over an extended time. The other 2 pictures are (10) Winterberry plants. They feed birds & other animals over the Winter. We removed the "invasive" multiflora rose, and are replacing with Winterberry. Thanks HardyPlantSociety!

Old Pine Farm Natural Land Trust is honored to announce:
“A Documentary Viewing and Conversation with World-Renowned Activist, Organizer, Professor, and Writer George Lakey”
On Saturday, September 12, at 2 p.m., we will be holding a very special viewing of the documentary "Citizen George", a film about the life of 88-year-old activist George Lakey, who has been on the front lines of so many important movements—from nuclear disarmament and the Civil Rights Movement to protesting the Vietnam War, doing extensive anti-sexism work, fighting for human rights in Sri Lanka, and advocating for climate justice and LGBTQ+ rights worldwide. And that is just some of the remarkable work that has defined his life.
Afterward, we will have a Q&A with George, during which he will provide in-depth insight into how his techniques and knowledge can be applied to today’s troubling times. He will also answer any questions our guests may have.
George is a wealth of knowledge and experience, as well as a truly inspiring example of how to make a difference in the world and in our own backyards.
This will be a special, peaceful, and enlightening afternoon. Attendance is free, but we survive on donations and they'd be greatly appreciated during this very difficult time. We will have a few of his books for sale as well.
