Our first raffle is here! The frame on the left has a $50 value; the right is $80. $130 in lottery tickets for only $10 per chance to enter! Each entry gets a raffle ticket, and there is no per person limit to entries. The winning raffle entry will be drawn and announced on Thanksgiving. Here are a few details about the family who needs our help.

We have a 28-year-old, recently single mom with three kids under 10. Thankfully, they escaped a dangerous home situation and have temporary shelter housing while they get back on their feet. Mom is beginning a new job, but grocery gift cards are welcome, and very much appreciated. There is a Walmart near her shelter. Immediate family doesn’t live nearby, but they’ve purchased some toys and groceries for the family. Clothing is appreciated, as many of their belongings were left behind. Their sizes are as follows:

The 9-year-old boy wears a men’s shoe size 8, men’s medium clothing. The 6-year-old girl wears a size 12 shoe, kids’ size 7/8. The 3-year-old boy wears a size 11 shoe and 5T clothing.

We at JLH will be partnering with local businesses to place donation boxes. A list of drop off locations will be coming soon.

November is here, Elves! We can’t wait to continue to spread magic to children who need it, and we hope you will join us, in loving memory of our elf, Jake.

Jake left this earth on December 8, 2016, and his kind and loving spirit lives on through the work of his little helpers- the family and friends who share his passion for giving. As a teen, Jake spent a large portion of his time at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where he underwent treatment for a painfully debilitating disease, RSD. But through the pain, he never missed an opportunity to spend time with the little kids, many of whom would never make it home. He read story books, told jokes, and played for hours in those hospital lounges. Jake always had the ability to make magic when it was needed the most.

What better way to continue his memory than through the magic of Christmas? Make sure to like and share our posts, and invite your friends to like our page. Our first raffle coming up is a scratch off lottery raffle—how exciting! All proceeds will benefit children with no stable home situation.

The holidays are coming, Elves! We at Jake’s Little Helpers had a very busy, but sad year. Jake’s dad joined him in Heaven in July. Our hearts are hurting, but our motivation is renewed. Both Jake and his father were passionate about making Christmas magical for children who needed magic. We’re asking for your help in spreading the word!

We have a family who needs us this year. We are going to be hosting a few online raffles in the very near future, so please like and share our page, and get ready to see some exciting prizes for raffle soon!

The holidays are coming, Elves! We won’t be hosting a benefit this year—Jake’s dad has been sick and his mom is an exhausted elf! But his family is still committed to Jake’s cause, and we have some kids who won’t have Christmas without us. Here is what’s on their wish list:
