omes and health care delivery, control costs, increase access to care, and improve health equity in Western New York. HEALTHeLINK is also a founding member of Civitas Networks for Health, a national collaborative working to use health information exchange to improve health.

Our focus - and the value of HEALTHeLINK - is ensuring patient health information is instantly and securely available to treating providers when it counts most at that point of care.

Patients see various providers from across the region that utilize different electronic health records, which is why it’s so important that hospitals and health systems streamline how this information is shared.

That starts with HEALTHeLINK, which is part of a broader network called the Statewide Health Information Network for New York or SHIN-NY.
