Yesterday, we received this little pug at Pug 911 Rescue. Thank you to our great friend Julie Ward for helping us secure her.
We were told she is 2 years old, but we really don’t know her age. What we do know is that she was chained outside, and a community member knew she deserved a better life.
My first visit with her began with her cowering in fear. Such fear. Who was this unknown human? What did he want? Would he hurt me?
After about five minutes of petting and praising, this little munchkin came out of her shell with massive zoomies. She sensed safety in my arms and in my words.
Then she got to enjoy a bath, which gave me the chance to gently massage her tiny, hungry body. It may sound odd, but that bath is a memory I think I will carry for the rest of my life.
With this backstory, what should we name her?
