In solemn remembrance and deep gratitude this Memorial Day, the FBIDVRCAAA proudly participated in the 2026 Flags for Fallen Veterans event at Fairmount Cemetery in Denver.

Each flag placed represents a life of service, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to our nation. Walking among the rows of flags served as a powerful reminder of the true cost of freedom and the enduring responsibility we share to honor those who gave everything in defense of it.

We are grateful to our members, volunteers, and community partners who joined in this meaningful tribute. Today, and every day, we remember the fallen and carry their legacy forward with respect, gratitude, and pride.

Last night, Immediate Past President, Scott Southworth had the opportunity to present to the FBI Denver 2026 Citizens Academy class about the mission, impact, and continued growth of our Alumni Association.

Scott shared how the FBIDVRCAAA supports the FBI through community outreach, education, partnership, and service across Colorado and Wyoming — while also highlighting the many ways our members stay engaged long after graduation from the Citizens Academy.

Thank you to the FBI - Denver for welcoming and allowing us to share the important work of the Alumni Association.

FBI Denver joined Buckley Space Force Base for a ruck march in honor of . Together we honor fallen officers and celebrate the commitment of those who serve by putting their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. Our partnership reflects the shared values and mission that unites our organizations.

This is a week where we take time to honor and pay tribute to the sacrifices made by law enforcement officers. These brave men and women put the badge on every day -- not knowing whether they’ll make it home.
