Attention : Meet Bella!

Bella is a 4-year-old mixed-breed girl with a personality all her own. We may not know exactly what breeds make up this adorable mix, but we do know she's pretty special!

Bella is potty trained (BONUS!), crate trained, and working on her commands. She's a little rusty, but she's making progress! She loves being near her people and, when things get noisy, she'll simply find a quiet spot nearby and make herself comfortable. She's also a big fan of toys, other dogs, cats, and—most especially—CHILDREN!

Bella is being rehomed through no fault of her own. She is currently enjoying life in a foster home and adjusting well despite having experienced a lot of changes recently. She may be nervous when she first meets you, but she's coming along beautifully with patience and reassurance.

Bella is spayed, current on vaccinations, receiving heartworm and flea prevention, and is microchipped. Her sweet, easygoing nature makes her a wonderful companion who could fit happily into a variety of homes.

If you'd like to meet this precious girl and see if Bella might be your perfect match, please contact [email protected] We'd love to introduce you to her! ❤️

Thanks to Photography by Sheila for showcasing Bella!

Meet the precious and beautiful Miss Bella.

She is 4-years-old and is potty trained (BONUS), crate trained and is learning different commands.

She was being rehomed through no fault of her own. Her former mom had a drastic change in her home life and had to find a safe place for her to go until Bella can find a new forever home.

She is currently in foster care and under the care of my friends at the Denton Humane Society.

Bella loves her toys, other dogs, CHILREN (they are extra special to her) and cats!

She is the perfect little dog to fit into most environments! She will be nervous when she first meets you as she has had so many changes in her life lately, but she is coming along nicely. She is spayed, current on shots and on HW meds as well as flea medication and is microchipped.

Bella's sweet nature makes her a wonderful addition to any family. If you would like to meet Bella, please reach out to Lisa at [email protected], she would love to introduce you to this precious girl.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 City of Denton Animal Shelter

Yes, his name is Dasa Baby Dog… because he is a baby dog. A sweet, silly, wiggly, lovable baby dog! This guy is the full package: dog-friendly, people-loving, and 100% ready to be the heart of your home. Can you believe he's been at the shelter since March?!?

Dasa is the kind of pup who fits in anywhere, whether you're a couch potato, a trailblazer, or somewhere in between. He’s always down for a game of fetch (his favorite sport), and the more tennis balls you throw, the happier he gets. His signature move? Holding one ball in his mouth while waiting for you to throw another. It’s a never-ending, adorable cycle of joy.

He’s a strong boy on leash, so a harness is your best bet for walks. That said, he’s made it pretty clear that he prefers zooming around the yard like a happy little tornado over structured strolls. But if you’re up for a jog, he’ll happily run alongside you like the loyal sidekick he is.
Dasa Baby also loves car rides and is always happy to hop in for an adventure. He's currently working on his doggie manners and making great progress every day. Because of this, he would do best with a seasoned owner. He needs consistency and love to continue his progress. If you're looking for a sweet, social companion with a playful spirit and lots of love to give, he may be your perfect match.

So if you’ve been searching for a goofy, sweet, ball-chasing bundle of love… congratulations. You’ve found him.
Now, come adopt this baby dog before he starts his own tennis league.

𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 for City of Denton Animal Shelter

Meet Babsie! ❤️ While she's currently thriving in a foster home, she's still looking for her forever family. Don't let the fact that she's in foster stop you—contact the shelter to schedule a meet-and-greet! Even better, her foster mom can tell you everything there is to love about this amazing girl.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who will greet you with nonstop tail wags, stay close by your side, and melt your heart with the sweetest puppy eyes, Babsie is your girl. At 8 years old, she's the perfect blend of calm and playful. She enjoys relaxing near her people but still has fun bursts of energy, especially if you'll join in!

Babsie is fully potty trained, crates beautifully, loves car rides, and gets along great with her foster dog siblings. She's wonderful with people of all ages and doesn't mind being hugged, kissed, or loved on. She rarely barks—unless she can't get to where she wants to be...right beside her family.

She was also recently introduced to a cat in a home environment and responded with curiosity and plenty of tail wags, showing no signs of aggression or prey drive. As with any new pet, slow and supervised introductions are always recommended.

Meet handsome little Jasper! 🐱

Jasper is an 8-month-old tabby who is as sweet as he is playful. He loves other animals and children, has been neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, and is litter box trained.

His perfect home would include another playful cat since he's still a kitten with lots of energy. While he isn't much of a lap cat, he loves being close to his people and is especially cuddly when it's time for a nap. He can be a little shy at first, but once he's comfortable, he enjoys playing with his family, being carried around, and even gently holding your hand in his mouth or nibbling your toes! He also loves carrying his toys around and stalking bugs.

Jasper has been an indoor/outdoor cat, but was always supervised outside. He needs to be rehomed through no fault of his own due to changes in his family's home environment caused by illness.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 City of Denton Animal Shelter

Meet the handsome Mr. Hubert. This sweet 2-year-old Domestic Shorthair has been at the shelter since 5/4/2026.

Hubert is fully litter box trained and gets along well with other cats, making him a great fit for a multi-cat household. He is affectionate and enjoys quiet companionship, often seeking out cozy spots to relax.

Due to recent behavioral changes, possibly caused by the stress of shelter life, Hubert would thrive in a calm, loving foster home where he can decompress and regain his confidence. We are urgently seeking a foster placement to help Hubert return to his gentle, loving self. ❤️

**UPDATE: Suzie was adopted!**

𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲: 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 & 𝗦𝘂𝘇𝗶𝗲! ❤️❤️

Have you ever seen a more perfect pair? These two beautiful sister pups came into the City of Denton Animal Shelter together as strays. They've clearly been through a lot, but through it all, they've leaned on each other for comfort and support.

While Sally and Suzie can absolutely be adopted separately, they share a genuinely sweet bond that is sure to melt your heart. They're also available for fostering, either together or individually, if you're looking to make a difference in a shelter dog's life.
