Our Ruby is ready to be the crown jewel of your family!

Eight months old, 40-45 pounds, hound mix and one of the sweetest souls we've had come through our doors in a long time.

Came in very fearful, coming out of her shell more every day.
Loves other dogs; having a canine buddy has been a big part of her confidence-building.
Responds beautifully to calm, gentle consistency.
Already showing us who she really is, and we like her a lot.

Ruby needs a foster or adoptive home that:
Will let her set the pace.
Stays calm and positive (she notices everything).
Is dog-friendly, a furry roommate would make her very happy.
Wants to be part of her continuing journey.
Loves a good breakthrough moment, because she's full of them.
If you're the patient, loving type, then Ruby is your dog.

The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). Meet Bunny and look at her precious ears! Bunny is a sweet chihuahua mix, appropriately 2 years old, around 12 pounds, housebroken and crate trained. Bunny is good with other dogs, loves people and is kid friendly (pr***en age children or older).

Sweet Bunny loves to go on walks, play with her toys, chase squirrels in the backyard and snuggle up to rest for her next playful adventure. Bunny is as sweet as they come and loves her people. Bunny has lots of energy and would love an active family and another dog close to her size to play with her.

Looking for a smart, sweet, and spirited addition to your pack? Winnie is a 5-month-old female Shepherd mix ready to find her forever home! She’s the perfect blend of high-energy athlete and total cuddle-bug sweetheart. She gets along well with other dogs. Winnie is crate trained and doing awesome with house training. She’s treat-motivated and already knows how to sit!

She’s looking for an active family who can keep up with her playful nature and give her all the love she deserves.

This young pup still has plenty of puppy energy, but he's also a great listener and eager to please. Scooby would thrive in a home with a yard to run and play in, regular walks, and a human who doesn't mind an XL cuddle buddy at the end of the day.
Because Scooby is still working on his manners (especially with jumping), he'd do best in a home without small children. With consistency, exercise, and love, this boy is sure to make someone an incredible companion!

Josie is a 2 year old dachshund/corgi mix weighing 17lbs. She is completely house/crate trained. Josie loves to play with other dogs her size, but is a little timid around larger dogs. She would be fine with older kids. She loves her people! Josie loves walks and is doing well with leash training.

Boomer is a sweet, goofy guy (check out his 🏆side eye game) who's all about fun and cuddles. He's still a young pup, full of energy, and absolutely loves his toys, seriously, he'll carry them around like trophies.

He would love a dog buddy around his size to play with. He does well with cats, all dogs and respects boundaries. Boomer's working on his manners (he knows "leave it"), and while he's super smart, he's still young and learning.

If you've got experience with bully breeds, you'll know exactly how to bring out the best in him. He's going to be a big boy when he's full grown, and he's already a pro-level snuggler.

Boomer is ready to roll, microchipped fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and on Heartgard, and neutered. He is waiting for his forever family.

Rescue is expensive. A single dog can cost hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars, before they ever reach their forever home. We do not receive government funding. We do not have a building. What we have is our community, and right now, our community can make every dollar go twice as far. North Texas Gives to Animals is matching donations across participating organizations up to a shared pool of $100,000. Once it is gone, it is gone.
