Mauricetown will hold its annual antiques show on March 7-8. We will have the Port Norris Historical Society Museum open on Saturday, March 7th. We will be open 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Come by and see the museum if you are passing by for the antiques show. Or just come by. We look forward to sharing our history with you.

We've closed on-line ticket sales for the Historic Dennisville (NJ) Christmas House Tour being held tomorrow (Sat., Dec.21st), but there are plenty of tickets left to purchase in person. Stop by the Dennisville Post Office on Hall Avenue beginning at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow to purchase tickets for $20 each. All ticket holders will also receive a brochure and map showing the various sites that are open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Plenty to see and do--free cookies and hot beverages! It's the last day to purchase your tickets on-line for the Historic Dennisville, NJ Christmas House Tour being held this Saturday, December 21st! Tickets are $15 per person on-line and $20 when purchased in person on the day of the tour. Open for the tour is the ca. 1820-30 Enoch and Nancy James House on Petersburg Road in the heart of the village. This house has been thoroughly renovated and brought up to date inside and out with a new wrap-around porch and a rear addition with a stunning new kitchen. Enoch James was a wheelwright, enumerated in the 1850 census living here with his wife and four children. This house is one of 10 historic houses, 2 historic churches, a late 1800s former store, and an 1874 former school that will be open for the tour. Enjoy free hot beverages and cookies, too! Also offered is a soup and sandwich supper (pay by donation) from 3 p.m. until the food runs out at the South Dennis Methodist Church. To purchase tickets and for more information visit www.dhhoa.org
