We want to thank both MX Volusia Pride contestants for their patience and professionalism throughout the formal review process. Both individuals represented themselves with grace and we deeply appreciate the respect shown to each other and the community during the review period.

The formal review included a detailed review of scoresheets, comments, and contested points submitted by both contestants. This was the closest race in our pageant history, with both contestants presenting exceptionally strong and evenly matched packages.

After extensive discussion, the Board determined that continuing to debate highly subjective technicalities was not in alignment with the mission and values of our organization. As a result, the Board has voted to award both contestants the title of MX Volusia Pride 2026.

We are excited to see the creativity, leadership, and collaboration that will come from this shared reign. Please help us welcome all members of the 2026 Volusia Pride Royal Court to the Volusia Pride family.

LGBTQ+ residents and students in Volusia county, you are invited to participate in a survey by Volusia Pride in collaboration with Stetson University about the experiences and needs of LGBTQ+ individuals in Volusia County!

This survey will be up for 6 months, and it is anonymous. Responses will be used for research and advocacy purposes.

You must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Participation is voluntary, and you may skip any question or stop at any time. It takes about 5 minutes to complete.

For generations, LGBTQ+ people were told to hide who we are, stay silent about who we love, and make ourselves smaller just to survive. Pride is the rejection of that shame.

This month, we celebrate the power of living openly, honestly, and authentically. Every story shared, every truth spoken, and every person choosing to be themselves helps build a world where belonging is possible for all.
