Defiance County Hot Air Balloon Festival

Defiance County Hot Air Balloon Festival Presented by WesBanco and North Western Electric Cooperative. Hosted by TAS. Organized by UWDC Admission is $15 per car.

The annual Defiance Hot Air Balloon Festival presented by Premier Bank and North Western Electric will be on Saturday, August 5th, hosted by TAS Aviation at the Defiance County Airport in Defiance, Ohio. Please see www.defianceballoonfest.com for more information on activities and pricing. Bring a chair or blanket to relax in the hot air balloon viewing area. The proceeds from the event will go towards the United Way of Defiance County & the Community Engagement Center.

Our 2026 Food Vendor Application is now open. 🤩

We accept vendors on a first come, first serve basis and do not accept duplicate vendors.

Please note that we already have a lemonade & shaved ice vendor for this year’s festival. Thank you!

🎃 Be sure to stop by The State Bank and Trust Company downtown Defiance to vote for your favorite entry in their Pumpkin Contest.

The top pumpkin will receive $250 to support their non-profit program. The United Way of Defiance County has selected their Feeding Success school pantry program which supplies food and hygiene items to every school in Defiance County. 🍎
