The tabby may be the most common cat coat pattern in the world, but there's nothing ordinary about Margarine.

She took the standard tabby blueprint, added a few extra colors, and made it her own. But Margarine isn't just a pretty face.

She's a sweet, gentle girl who enjoys quiet companionship, chasing toy springs, and finding the most unexpected hiding spots in the house. One minute she's there, the next minute she's vanished into a cozy little nook you didn't even know existed.

Margarine is the kind of cat who doesn't need to be the center of attention to win people over. She just quietly goes about being herself, and somehow that makes her even more special.

This week, we're celebrating one of the most iconic coat patterns in the cat world: the tabby.

Things you may not know about tabbies:
• Tabby is a coat pattern, not a breed.
• Tabbies are the most common coat pattern found in domestic cats.
• Most tabbies have the famous "M" marking on their forehead.
• Tabbies can have stripes, swirls, spots, or ticked coats.

Cat people helping dog people! ❤️🐱➡️🐶

Thanks to a generous donation from PetSmart, we have 9 bags of Nutrish dry dog food available for local dog families who could use a little help right now.

There is nothing wrong with this food. It is well within expiration dates. The bags were donated because the manufacturer updated the packaging and these were removed from store inventory.

🐶 Adult Whole Health Blend (Real Beef, Pea & Brown Rice Recipe)
• 1 large bag (28 lb)
• 1 small bag (6 lb)

🐶 Adult Whole Health Blend (Real Chicken & Veggies Recipe)
• 1 large bag (28 lb)

🐶 Puppy Whole Health Blend (Real Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe)
• 3 medium bags (14 lb each)

🐶 Small Breed Whole Health Blend (Real Chicken & Veggies Recipe)
• 1 medium bag (14 lb)
• 2 small bags (6 lb each)

🐶 Plus a few assorted dog treats that we'll add to each pickup while supplies last.

Please only claim a bag if you, or someone you designate, can pick up during the listed pickup window.

We are unable to hold bags outside the pickup window, arrange alternate pickup times, or provide delivery.

IMPORTANT:

• Limit one bag per household so we can help as many families as possible.
• We will post an individual photo of each bag in the comments.
• To claim a bag, reply directly under the photo of the bag you want.
• Claims made as general comments on this post will not be counted.
• If a bag already has a confirmed claimant, please choose another available bag.
• If you claim a bag and later find that you cannot pick it up, please let us know by replying to your claim comment (preferred) or sending us a message. Unclaimed bags may be offered to another family after the pickup window has ended.

Please help us keep this organized by following the instructions above.

After weeks of winning hearts, causing just the right amount of mischief, and perfecting his cuddle skills, Artemis is finally ready for his forever home! 🖤🤍

This tuxedo cutie is always on the move unless there’s a lap available. He’s never met a toy he wouldn’t chase, a box he wouldn’t investigate, or a person he couldn’t charm. One minute he’s exploring, the next he’s handing out kisses like it’s his full-time job.

Artemis believes every box should be inspected, every room should be explored, and every day should include plenty of kisses.

Because kittens thrive with feline friends, Artemis must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with a young, playful cat.

Act fast. Early reports suggest Artemis is expected to receive an overwhelming number of applications. 😹🖤🤍🐾

Country Crock looks like the type of cat a children’s book would be written about. 🧡

Like somewhere out there, there should be a story about a tiny tabby girl who spends her days finding sunny spots, supervising snacks, and convincing everyone she meets to fall in love with her immediately.

She’s sweet without trying too hard about it. Cute without even noticing. And somehow always looks like she just heard the gentlest little piece of gossip.

Honestly, Country Crock feels less like “a cat up for adoption” and more like the cat someone’s been missing without realizing it yet. 🧡

Kaleidoscope is one of those cats you understand the second you spend time with her.

She is sweet, affectionate, and very into being close once she is comfortable. She loves to cuddle, settle in next to you, and just exist in that quiet, easy way that makes a house feel calmer.

She is not over the top or constantly in your face. She is more of a “hang out with you” kind of cat. The one who finds a spot nearby, keeps you company, and then leans in for attention when she is ready.

Her playful side comes out when she is comfortable, and when it does, it is fun to watch. But she is not chaotic. She is steady, gentle, and really easy to live with.

Kaleidoscope does well with other cats but would also be perfectly happy as your one and only. She would do best in a home that appreciates a calmer, more connected kind of cat.

She is the kind of cat who sneaks up on you…
and then suddenly you can’t picture your life without her.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. ❤️🤍💙

Memorial Day is a reminder to appreciate the freedoms, comfort, and moments we often take for granted.

Here at Yoga4Cats, we’re especially grateful for the ability to do what we love every day: helping cats in need, supporting our community, and giving animals a second chance at a safe and happy life.

Whether today is spent with family, friends, or curled up on the couch with your cats, we hope it’s filled with peace, gratitude, and remembrance.

Kitten season is officially in full swing, and our bottle babies already have an amazing community behind them. 🍼🐾

After sharing that we were in need of KMR, our supporters helped stock our shelves for the tiny kittens depending on us right now and the many still to come.

Every can donated will help feed hungry little bellies and support growing kittens through those critical early weeks, and we truly cannot thank you enough for the support.

We are so thankful for every single person who took the time to send KMR our way. Your support truly helps us continue saying “yes” to kittens in need. ❤️
