Jet’s has become a favorite hangout for our Heartland CASA staff and volunteers since we graduated our first class of CASA volunteers in Moultrie County last August. So we thought, why not turn one of our favorite places into a fun evening for everyone?

Come enjoy dinner, hang out with friends and neighbors, and play After Hours Trivia at your table for a chance to win some fun prizes! 🎉

You’ll also have a chance to meet Heartland CASA staff and some of our newest Moultrie County CASA volunteers, along with Becky Comstock, Moultrie County Domestic Violence Coordinator with Moultrie County DOVE, Inc.

Get to know these local organizations and learn more about the difference they’re making for children, families and our community right here in Moultrie County.

And if you’ve ever thought about becoming a CASA volunteer this is a great opportunity to meet the people behind the program, ask questions and learn more about how you can make a difference in the life of a child.

OCTOBER IS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH. Did you know that Dove DV programs are in 5 Counties (Macon, Dewitt, Moultrie, Shelby, & Piatt) and anyone needing assistance can contact the 24 hour hotlines for assistance or support.

Coat season is coming! 🧥❤️ The 35th annual WAND Cost for Kids Drive with Dove, Inc. begins Oct. 26, helping provide free coats to children across Macon County.

Most Dove, Inc. staff will be off today, Monday, October 12, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day. The Children's Clothing Room will also be closed.

However, help is always available!

Dove's domestic violence program's 24/7 Hotline is 217-423-2238 and the shelter is always open.

Staff and organization professionals along with volunteers are invited to benefit from attending the next 40 hour training Nov 2-6. 40 hour domestic violence training will equip individuals who may want to regularly volunteer for Dove‘s domestic violence program along with education advancement for their own employment. The volunteers could answer hotlines, help cover our shelter schedule, help with data collection and filing, assist with orders of protection, or assist with facilitation of support groups. Register by Oct 23.
