A great neighborhood supporting a great cause! Promising. if Mark survived, we would pay it forward-thank u neighbors 4 allowing us to keep the promise! I.

In 2002 the residents of Andrew Road in Springfield Pa. decided it would be a good idea to change their annual cookie exchange to a giving celebration to benefit families at A. DuPont Hospital for Children oncology floor. The reason for this is because one of Andrew road's children, Mark Rodgers, is a Leukemia survivor. Diagnosed in 1998 with Infant ALL, Mark spent many holidays in the hospital. Mark's family knows firsthand how difficult many months in the hospital can be on a family. Along with their generous neighbors, they have started this giving foundation in which items are generously donated by local merchants and raffled at the annual Christmas get together. The money raised by these raffles and the gifts so generously donated by neighbors help Andrew road and surrounding streets provide financial support, parties and meals to patients and their families.

Another wonderful Halloween party in the books! What a wonderful day full of games and crafts, good food and lots of fun had by all! Thank you to all of our volunteers. This super group of humans show up over and over, our boots on the ground. We had the honor of seeing some of our favorite patient families. Especially our 2025 Hero Ambassador Bree and our upcoming 2026 Hero Ambassador Miles. These kiddos are so super resilient, their journeys have been challanging but they continue to show us our why. Seeing their smiles today….priceless!

Meet Might Miles! Our super duper hero and our 2026 Hero Ambassador❤️after a challenging journey with stage 3 liver cancer, Miles rang the bell this week!🔔We have had the pleasure to meet Miles and his mom and dad and visit a couple of times to assist them in these past tough days. In talking to his sweet mom Alex and learning of the ups and downs of the treatment roadmap, I couldn’t help to remember our own challenging days. These encounters and friendships reminds us of our why. Miles is our why!! Lending a helping hand is our why! Hugging an exhausted mom or dad is our why! We really hope you can come out to Markie’s Miracle Christmas
Village on 12/12 and meet this amazing boy and his resilient beautiful family! We look forward to celebrating Miles as we continue to work to raise funds to continue our mission! Hope to see you there!
