It was a very rewarding experience to have a table for Volusia County Women Who Care at the Non-Profit Expo for the Port Orange South Daytona Chamber's Youth Civic Leadership Experience.

I love meeting the students, they shared how amazing there experienses have been. They had a week full of amazing experiences.

One of the students shared that he was considering moving out of the country but after this expereince he is considering staying in Volusia County after learning how much it had to offer. Other students were interested in interning and one student was interested in starting his own non-profit.

It seems that Our future is safe in their hands!

What a wonderful day celebrating community partnership and collective impact with our Walmart Partner!

A heartfelt thank you to Troy Morgan, Store Manager of the Daytona Walmart Supercenter, for presenting a $1,000 contribution to the VCWWC Community Partner Impact Fund. Through partnerships like this, we are able to continue supporting and encouraging local nonprofits serving Volusia County.

It was also such a pleasure spending time with Andrea Raines-Rost, Walmart Executive and proud VCWWC member, whose support and enthusiasm for our mission means so much.

And of course… no Walmart visit would be complete without a photo with Tony the Tiger! 🐯

The VCWWC Community Partner Impact Fund helps provide sustaining grants to nonprofit organizations presenting at our quarterly meetings, ensuring that more organizations receive support, visibility, and encouragement as they continue serving our community.

We are deeply grateful to Walmart and all of our community partners who believe in the power of collective giving and local impact. Together, we are building a stronger and more compassionate Volusia County. 💛
