Happening tomorrow morning (rescheduled due to previous thunderstorm). CFIN: A Community of Families in Nature

Come out before the heat hits, and help prepare the pollinator garden in Swansfield right by the pool and playground!

We hope to see you there!

We hope to see you there!

Join us for a Beech Forest Grove Volunteer Playdate this Thursday from 3:30–5:00 PM.

This is a family-friendly volunteer gathering where kids are welcome to explore, play, and participate in age-appropriate stewardship while grown-ups help care for the space.

We’ll spend the afternoon doing light invasive plant removal, litter cleanup, nature observation, and community care.

Bring water, hat, closed-toe shoes, gloves if you have them, and any kid-friendly outdoor tools or buckets.

Beech Forest Grove is growing through community care, and this is a chance for neighbors of all ages to learn, play, and care for the land together.

This is a Luna Moth, picture taken by Linda K after leaving Harper's Choice Community Association from voting / plant giveaway. This is a native species and one of the largest North American moths. This is just one reason we advocate for planting natives plants!
Host plants for the Luna Moth include hickory, walnut, sweet gum, and white oak trees.

We all walk the paths of Harper’s Choice, but how often do we stop to see who’s looking back at us?

Join the community on Wednesday, April 15th, for a guided nature walk. It’s a great chance to "unplug," meet some new faces, and finally learn the difference between a sparrow and a finch.

We depart from Kahler Hall at 9:30 AM sharp. Don’t be a "late bird"—secure your spot now!
