✨ Our hearts are so full! 🧺🌳

What a truly beautiful, lighthearted afternoon we shared at our Grounded in Gratitude picnic! We set out to celebrate the roots of our community, and the day exceeded every expectation.

From the youngest children to our beloved elders, Sanad Sanctuary was filled with the best kind of energy. Here are a few highlights from our day together:

🎲 Laughter & Games: We played games that had our elders smiling, laughing, and sharing with one another.

🍲 Delicious Food: We gathered around a wonderful shared lunch that brought everyone together.

🍹 Student Refreshers: A huge shoutout to our incredible students, whose specially prepared refreshers were an absolute hit and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in the summer heat!

It was a blessed, fun-filled gathering surrounded by loving and caring believers—both the young and the young at heart. 💕

🙌 A final, heartfelt thank you to Islamic Relief USA for their incredible support through the Small Grants Program, making events like this one possible.

Thank you to every single family who came out to pour love back into our grandparents. We are so grounded in gratitude for this community! ❤️

Ziyad and Hyatt successfully completed Sanad Prep High School with honors with our district partner Miami-Dade Online Academy.

Here are some of Ziyad's Achievements:
- Graduated #5 in class - Magna Cum Laude (with great distinction)
- Earned the Superintendent's Diploma of Distinction
- Earned Associate of Arts degree from Miami Dade College
- Recognized through the Talented Twenty Recognition
- Achieved a 4.826 weighted high school GPA
- Achieved a 3.55 College GPA
- Completed over 500 Community Service Hours
- Memorized the last five juz of the Qur’an
- Demonstrated foundational studies in Fiqh, Seerah, and Aqeedah
- Recipient of the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship
- Maintained part-time employment at Publix while excelling academically
- Served as a youth basketball coach and league organizer, mentoring younger students and helping manage league operations
- Actively participated in both competitive cricket and basketball leagues

Here are some of Hyatt’s Achievements:
- Achieved a 3.622 weighted high school GPA
- Participated in dual enrollment and completed one college class
- Completed 53 Community Service Hours
- Memorized Juz Amma

A blueprint is just ink on paper until you lift the first stone. 📐🕋

On this Eid al-Adha, our hearts reflect on the steadfastness of a sacred family: Hajar (alayha salam) pacing the scorching sands in search of hope, and Ibrahim (alayhi salam) lifting heavy basalt rock alongside Ismail (alayhi salam) in a silent valley to build a sanctuary for generations they would never see.

For over fifteen years, we have nurtured the souls of our youth, supported families, and comforted our elders in temporary spaces. Now, we have set our sights on a permanent home—the Sanad Campus.

This campaign is a reminder of how fleeting time is. Our days here are brief. But our aspirations for every child, parent, and elder we serve are unwavering.
