August is a fantastic young boy, full of happy enthusiasm, love and sweetness. He is extremely friendly to all, and adores human interaction of all kinds. August loves to romp around and play, but will also engage calmly for cuddling and belly rubs. He walks nicely on a leash and gets along with other dogs. He likes to play with other dogs, so he can either be the only dog or with another nice dog of similar size who also likes to play.

August is a gorgeous Golden Doodle, about 3-4 years old and about 33 pounds. You will not find a sweeter boy who will give you endless hugs and kisses and surely brighten your days with his wonderfully adorable looks and personality. Sunday Adoption News 🧡

Our sweet boy, Louis, the handsome pup on the far right in his mom’s arms, has officially found his forever family! 🥹 We couldn’t be happier for this special boy and his amazing new parents and two doggie siblings. When you are a true dog family, the more the merrier!

Cosmo is a super adorable, sweet and friendly boy. He is easy going, and has a wonderful, mellow demeanor. He loves affection and attention, and enjoys going for walks. Cosmo is a joy to be with and will make a great companion. He gets along well with other dogs, but prefers mellow dogs like himself.

Cosmo is a beautiful Shih Tzu, about 6-7 years old and 20 pounds (he should be about 17 pounds at proper weight). He is a real charmer, who will brighten your days with his awesomeness. Super Special Adoption News 🧡🧡

When Sandy's (on the right) potential adopters came to meet him, they discovered he had a cherished little friend who would miss him terribly. They asked if they could meet her as well.

Then a miracle happened.

Not only did they fall in love with Sandy, but they also fell in love with our sweet little Ivy Rose. It is a rare and beautiful thing to witness such a generous act love and compassion at Shih Tzu Rescue.

Sandy arrived in our care so severely matted that he could barely stand. It took hours of patient grooming to remove the painful mats and allow him to move comfortably again. Despite the terrible neglect he had endured, Sandy's gentle and loving nature never faded.

During his recovery, he met little Ivy Rose, and it was love at first sight. From that moment on, they were inseparable.

Now, thanks to a family with open hearts and room for two more, Sandy and Ivy Rose will spend the rest of their lives together—living happily ever after. ✨

The name Feyre means “fair and beautiful”, which perfectly suits our new, fantastic girl. Feyre is a Shih Tzu/Bichon mix, also known as a Teddy Bear. She is about 2 years old and 14 pounds. Feyre is a total delight, and loves affection, cuddling, and belly rubs.

With her wonderful, sweet, friendly demeanor, she has already captured the hearts of everyone at the rescue. She gets along with other dogs and walks nicely on a leash.

Feyre was surrendered for no fault of her own, and cannot wait to share her love and good vibes with a new family. We’ve had some really amazing adoptions recently, but can’t seem to figure out why Orville & Prescott haven’t had any applications.

Orville and Prescott are happy, darling boys who are brightening all of our days here at the rescue. They are very sweet and friendly, and they get along well with other dogs. Orville and Prescott enjoy all of the human interaction they are receiving, including petting and affection, playing with toys and exploring in the yard.

Orville (black and white) and Prescott (white and apricot), are both Shih Tzus and about 4 years old. Orville is about 10 pounds and Prescott is about 14 pounds. Some goodbyes are bittersweet… but this one is mostly SWEET! ❤️

Our sweet Rudy has officially found his forever home! 🏡🐶 After everything he’s been through, seeing him loved, safe, and surrounded by his very own family makes our hearts SO happy.

Rudy, you may have started as a rescue pup, but today you are officially a forever family member, along with a doggie sibling of your very own.

We are so grateful to the amazing people who opened their hearts and home to this special little guy. Thank you for choosing adoption and giving Rudy the happily-ever-after he always deserved! May his days be filled with belly rubs, treats, cozy naps, and more love than you ever imagined.
