OMG Tyler 😍😍

Tyler has sweetness, youthful energy, calmness, and joyfulness all in just the right amounts. He is totally adorable in both personality and looks. Tyler is very friendly and loves to be with people, loving it all from cuddling and belly rubs, to running around and playing fetch. He is truly a sweetie and a delight to be with, and he gets along with other dogs.

Tyler is a Shih Tzu, about 1 1/2 years old and 14 pounds. This wonderful pup is a happy and healthy boy, who will surely bring lots of love and fun to a new family. 🐾 Sunday Adoption News! 🐾

Some families have a special place in their hearts for rescue, and Feyre’s wonderful new family is one of them!

Having adopted from Shih Tzu Rescue before, they already know the joy of giving a deserving dog a second chance. When they lost their precious Bichon, they knew the most beautiful way to honor her memory was to open their hearts and home to another little soul in need. 🌈🐶

And now, sweet Feyre has been chosen! We couldn’t be happier knowing this little cutie will be surrounded by love, kindness, and all the care a dog could ever dream of for the rest of her life. ❤️

Milo is the king of snuggling 🧡 This dear, gentle, delightful boy loves to cuddle up in a lap, get lots of petting and belly rubs, and give and receive hugs and kisses. Milo is a true sweetheart, friendly to all, and has a beautiful, calm demeanor. His full personality emerges when he is indoors, when this cute, happy boy hops around wistfully and plays with toys so adorably it melts the heart. He walks nicely on a leash and he gets along with other dogs.

Milo is a very handsome Shih Tzu, about 9 years old and 18 pounds. He is in excellent shape and plays like a puppy when you bring out the toys. Sunday Adoption News! 🎉

Missy & Lexie are officially HOME! ❤️🐾

These two fun-loving party girls spent a long time at the rescue waiting for their forever family. They never let the waiting steal their sparkle, though — they were always ready for a little fun, a little mischief, and a LOT of love! 🥳🐶🐶

And then, finally, their wonderful parents came along and knew these girls were the ones.

After all that waiting, Missy & Lexie are exactly where they belong — together, loved, spoiled, and living their very best lives. We are so thrilled for this bonded pair, and so grateful to their lovely parents for choosing to adopt

Cassie & Cindy 💕🌟

Cassie and Cindy are all about love and fun, with each other and everyone else. Although they came from tragic circumstances, you would never know that now. They are very happy, bright, energetic girls, full of sweetness and playfulness. Besides romping around in the yard and playing fetch, they adore cuddling and affection. They play together extremely nicely, and never fight, even over toys. They also get along well with other dogs.

Cassie and Cindy are mom and daughter, and their special bond is easily seen with how beautiful they interact with each other. Cassie, the mom, is white and tan, and about 4 years old. Cindy, the daughter, is white and grey, and about 3 years old. They are both a little overweight now, but should be about 13-14 pounds. Cindy’s left eye is blind and bluish in color, likely from prior trauma. Her right eye is normal and has good vision. The girls have not yet learned to walk on leashes, so their new home must have a nice, fenced yard for them. Cassie and Cindy can’t wait to share their love and good spirits with a new family. Call to Action ☎️📣 Dog Lovers!

Rep. Nicholas Langworthy (R-N.Y.) and Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wis.) recently introduced the Companion Animal Protection Against Cruel Testing (COMPACT) Act, which would prohibit the Department of Health and Human Services from using federal funds to purchase, breed, import, transport, house, or conduct biomedical research on dogs and cats.

The COMPACT Act would help end taxpayer support for experiments on dogs and cats while encouraging federal research funding to move toward human-based approaches that better translate to human health.

Dogs and cats continue to be used in federally funded experiments, including painful and distressing procedures. To stop federal funding for biomedical research involving dogs and cats, please contact your U.S. representative to ask them to co-sponsor the COMPACT Act.
