Jewish Community Relations Council Chair Karen Zemel, Carolyn Shapir, and Lori Mizels recently joined more than 400 Jewish leaders from 82 communities on Capitol Hill to advocate for the landmark bipartisan Jewish American Security Act.

The legislation would increase funding for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program to $1 billion, establish a new grant program for houses of worship, require the Department of Education to designate an antisemitism coordinator, strengthen efforts to combat antisemitism on college campuses receiving DOE funding, and increase transparency around how online platforms moderate and respond to antisemitic content.

Sometimes, it’s not just about what’s delivered—it’s about what’s noticed.

Because of you, a Sunshine Circle meal delivery volunteer saw that Ruth wasn’t just hungry—she was cold.

Without socks. Without a way to get them. Because of you, that changed. Your gift supports:

💚 Meal delivery for isolated seniors
💚 Volunteers who provide ongoing human connection
💚 Wraparound care that restores dignity—not just meets basic needs

Help us support over 200,000 Jewish seniors, survivors, and vulnerable individuals.

As the campaign comes to a close, there are still people we haven’t reached. Still needs we haven’t met.

In a world that moves quickly, you slow down and care. You make sure no one is overlooked. Make your gift before June 30—because no one should be left behind.
