Hello Darlings!
I know I have been quiet! Thank you all for all of your well-wishes on my 41st b-day last month! It was humbling to see all of the comments that came through. That was the weekend that I dropped my first baby girl off to college. My head was in another place. Wow! what a weekend!? I wanted to ask a question. In the wake of all of the tragedies and events that have been happening in our communities across the country, would you like to get together as a community and have your voice be heard? Would you like to have real, yet forward-moving, solution-based conversation with your local leaders??? With NFL players as role models making quiet demonstrations during the National Anthem and folks posting rants on Facebook, it is clear to me that people want to talk! I am hosting a town hall meeting next weekend, for the people, by the people. I bring you the Broward Health Town Hall Luncheon presented by The Signature Grand, September 24, 2016 10 am - 2 pm.

Let's talk about solutions to today's problems with local, prominent leaders in the community! Our panel discussion will be lead by Suzette Speaks, a trailblazer and local leader in the community. Our panel will consist of other prominent leaders such as Judge Peter Weinstein, Chief Judge of the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida, Barbara Weinstein, CEO of Family Central, Gordon Weekes of the Broward County Public Defender's office, newly elected judge Betsy Benson, Senior Prosecutor, Don. L Horn, Dr. Gray Fenton, officers and representation from the BSO office and more! You will be entertained by none other than BluApple Poetry from the Jason Taylor Foundation to start things off.
