It is with a heavy heart that the Davie-Cooper City Chamber of Commerce mourns the loss of a significant presence in our community, John Primeau.

John was an active and selfless volunteer and advocate for countless charitable and civic organizations, including the DCCC, for decades and also formerly served as the Chamber's President.
The support and wisdom that he has shared with us will never be forgotten, and we owe him our deepest gratitude for helping us grow alongside the Town of Davie and the City of Cooper City.

Welcome to 2023! The DCCC has a lot of plans for helping you grow and develop your businesses this year (and a lot of work to do). The DCCC family is ready to help to you get a kick-start on 2023 with our January Membership Luncheon!

Join us on Tuesday, January 17th at 11:30AM in the Nova Southeastern University club room in the Don Taft University Center. Angelica & Alexandra Zadak of This Is Improv will be guiding us through an engaging workshop based on using improv skills to better connect with your clients and customers. You can also look forward to complimentary valet parking, a 15-minute tour of the Nova Southeastern University Athletics arena and facilities, a meet-and-greet with NSU basketball coaches, a business spotlight for , and delicious food catered by NSU Chartwells!

Chambrie is tired out after another year of bringing holiday cheer to businesses all over Davie and Cooper City, but the last thing she needs to do before she hangs up her hat for 2022 is announce the winner of our contest! On November 6th, 2022, the DCCC came together with the Town of Davie - Government, Neighbors 4 Neighbors and Main Event Talent Agency to host the Hurricane Ian Benefit Concert at the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds. The goal driving the concerts inception was to raise as much money as possible for those affected most by Hurricane Ian on the west coast of Florida, with 100% of the ticket proceeds and a portion of concession proceeds being put toward that purpose.

We are happy to announce that, through your support, we managed to raise over $14,000 for those in need. We were honored to come together and present the check to Neighbors 4 Neighbors at our December Membership Luncheon last Tuesday, December 13th.

Thank you to everyone who showed your support to the cause through your attendance at the concert and your generous donations.

Our last Membership Luncheon of the year at Robbins Lodge in the Town of Davie - Government was an absolute blast! Janelle Falcon from our Platinum Trustee Baptist Health led an engaging and interactive workshop on managing holiday stress, Ebonie Paris serenaded us with some jazzy tunes and Fresh Kitchen provided the delicious spread of food. Thank you to all our supporters for another successful year of building up small businesses in the community. We're looking forward to continue supporting you all more in 2023 🎉

Chambrie is starting off her week with a history lesson! She's visiting a non-profit that was recently listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and has been serving the community surrounding it for over 100 years. The women who work tirelessly with local schools, businesses and other organizations to make Davie great are huge role models for Chambrie!

We strive to serve local businesses and residents, as well as those considering relocating to our area of South Florida. We have a diverse and dedicated membership of more than 500 businesses. The Chamber is a private non-profit tax paying organization. The Chamber unites businesses of all kinds to build relationships and build a better community.

By hosting events like member lunches, after hour events, leads groups and others members have the opportunity to mingle with all kinds of business owners. Once your business is a member of the Chamber everyone who works there is a member! We encourage you to encourage your staff to GET INVOLVED! Come to as many events as possible! Your membership is only as good as you make it!
