REGISTERING MORE THAN ONE PERSON FOR TRIVIA NIGHT?

If you're registering more than one person, such as your entire Trivia Night team, here's how to do it:

1. Set up your Race Roster account — you must have an account.

2. Go to the Trivia Night page and select "Register." You can search for it in the search bar.

3. Select that you're registering yourself and enter your name, birthdate, and email.

4. Select "Create a Team." You are now the team captain.

5. At the bottom, select "Add Another Registrant."

6. This time, select "Someone Else" when asked "Who Are You Registering?"

7. Enter their name, make up a birthdate if you don't know it, and use your own email address.

8. Add them to your team.

9. Again, select "Add Another Registrant" at the bottom and repeat until everyone is entered.

10. When everyone has been entered, select "Continue" and proceed to the waiver and payment.

11. You've now paid for everyone — don't forget to have them pay you back!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Registering someone else for Trivia Night does not create a Race Roster account for that person nor will they get a confirmation email. They will need to create their own account in order to participate in the 2027 Quad Cities Summer Games — and we certainly hope they will!

As of October 20, 28 people have already registered successfully this way, so we know the system works!

Email me at [email protected] with any questions.

IMPORTANT TRIVIA NIGHT HELPFUL INFORMATION!

Our new registration company, Race Roster, has merged with our previous provider, GetMeRegistered. We'll be using Race Roster for Trivia Night, the 2027 Summer Games, and future registrations.

Here's the big change!

For years, we told you NOT to create an account with our old provider.

With Race Roster, you MUST create an account. That's the first step!

I've reduced the required information to a minimum: name, birthdate, and email address. I know regular trivia players aren't used to providing this much information just to play trivia. Please bear with us!

A few tips:

You can use 1/1/1970 as your birthdate.

Your email address is needed to receive registration confirmation.

If registering several teammates:

1. Only you will need an account
2. Use 1/1/1970 for everyone's birthdate and your own email address for all of them. (Of course, your teammates will not get a confirmation email.)

For additional Trivia Night details, scroll down to our earlier posts.

2. You will need to set up a Race Roster account (which you can use at a later date to register for other Race Roster events (like next year's trivia or the 2027 Summer Games).

Be careful when creating your password - it is unforgiving. (I have a work order in to Race Roster to make it more user friendly.)

2. If you're registering your entire team, give everyone the same birthday of 1/1/1970 and use your email for all of your team members.

Trivia Night is coming — Friday, November 13!

Supports CASI and the Quad Cities Summer Games.

Our team is working hard on the raffle baskets. We’re going to make them worthy of the occasion.

Fundraisers like this are a big reason we can keep the Quad Cities Summer Games the best value of its kind in the country!

Forty dollars gets you unlimited events, a T-shirt, up to three earned medals, refreshments, pizza at Opening Ceremonies, and the closing picnic.

We can only do that because people show up, support events like this, buy raffle tickets, and help us keep the cost down.

So put a team together, come out for a fun night, support CASI and the Summer Games, and take a shot at some excellent raffle baskets.

Friday, November 13. Be there.

Thank you for your consideration.

TRIVIA NIGHT UPDATE!

We’re reposting our Trivia Night flyer, but there’s one addition that came up after the original flyer went to press:

Each table will be able to purchase a Mulligan/Doubler sheet for $10.

Pro tip: If you have any intention of making the podium, you’re probably going to want one.

And yes, youngsters are absolutely welcome! But we had to pick an age group when putting the questions together, so some of the more dated categories — pop culture, music, TV, movies and the like — will be geared toward the 40+ crowd. Consider that fair warning.

Friday, November 13 at CASI. Come out, have some fun, test your knowledge and support CASI and the QC Summer Games.

We're thrilled to announce that our trivia night on Nov. 13 will be put on by Think and Drink Trivia.

Registrations are already pouring in. Well, we're up to 3 (including Larry's and my test registrations.)

Anyway, registration is open and has been tested.

You can register right from Raceroster.com and search for Trivia Night or you can follow the QR code right to the registration page.

Trivia Night registration is now open!

This year's Trivia Night is being put on jointly by the Quad Cities Summer Games and CASI, and we're expecting big things!

You can register directly at RaceRoster.com by searching for “Trivia Night,” or use the QR code below.

Please register online if possible. Walk-ins will be allowed, but registering early will really help us organize the event and make things easier for everyone.

You can register individually, or you can create a team when you register and ask your teammates to register as part of your team.

Registration is simple. We need your name, email address, and date of birth so we can verify that the person registering is over 18.

Youngsters are welcome, but an adult must register them.

The 50/50 raffle tickets and the raffle basket tickets will be available only at the event.

And for those who have joined us the last two times, we will have a different MC this year.

Get your team together and sign up. It will be a blast!

Send questions by email to [email protected].

Please help spread the word.
