The Community Fund provides grants and resources that improve lives and strengthen the communities of Stamford, Norwalk, and Darien.

Since 1951, we have granted nearly $30,000,000 to local nonprofits supporting the basic needs of our neighbors.

Our Youth Give Back (YGB) 7th and 8th grade students enjoyed two fun volunteer visits to Under One Roof at The Marvin! Thank you for having YGB!

💙YGB Group A made festive fall ribbon wreaths alongside senior residents and the three-year-old preschool class.

💙YGB Group B joined the residents and preschoolers for more fall fun, decorating pumpkins, reading pumpkin-themed books, and coloring together.

Meet our five amazing Mahjong for Good Youth Community Fund volunteers. 🌟 These girls shined from start to finish, helping with guest check-in and raffle ticket sales. They showed up with positivity and worked hard. Cheers to us for getting our Mahj-On for Good! 🀄️💙💕

Thank you for joining us last night at our second annual Mahjong for Good fundraiser! We were so grateful to host you for an evening of fun, friendship, and giving back.

Thanks to your generosity, we raised $16,100 through raffle ticket sales alone, all in support of our 2026–2027 grant pool. Thank you!

The dollars raised provide grants and resources that will help local nonprofits provide food, housing, physical and mental healthcare, employment skills, youth programs and emergency services to our neighbors in need.

On Wednesday evening, our Youth Community Fund 10th-12th grade students packed an impressive 440 lunch bags, which .fc immediately distributed to local agencies serving individuals and families facing food insecurity. Well done, !

In celebration of The Community Fund's 75th Anniversary, Committee Member Sally Houlihan created a special Mahjong line.

Our Youth Give Back Groups enjoyed a fun day of volunteering at the Darien Nature Center! 🌿 Students helped clear trails, spread mulch, and keep the grounds looking their best. They even had a chance to spend some time with the animals. Thank you for having us!

A great day of giving back, working together, and enjoying the outdoors!

The Community Fund provides grants and resources to local nonprofits that meet our 4 Key Areas of Impact: Basic Needs, Community Health, Workforce Development, and Youth Success. Our grants provide access to food, housing, physical and mental healthcare, employment skills, youth success programs, and emergency services to our neighbors in need.

Each nonprofit funded by The Community Fund is thoroughly vetted by our Grant Review Committee and trained volunteers who ensure that our donors’ contributions are allocated to make the greatest impact on local priorities. These grants are made possible by our generous donors.
