🙌🏽LOOKING🙌🏽FOR🙌🏽VOLUNTEERS🙌🏽

We're looking for Poké Fans who are available on Monday evenings to assist us with hosting Peninsula Pokémon Club events! 😁

⭐ Our regular events are always in the Serramonte Library on Monday evenings so we prefer someone that's usually available at that day and time
⭐ We do NOT require our volunteers to have Pokémon cards but we do prefer someone with prior Pokémon knowledge even if it's from video games or the shows/movies
⭐ We accept teen volunteers as long as they fit the first two items we mentioned

Happy Pokémon Day!! Here are the photos from our Pokémon Day celebration last February 23!

On February 27, 1996, the very first Pokémon games were released. Today, 30 years later, the franchise has grown to be loved by generations of Pokémon fans!

Did you know that the founders of the Peninsula Pokémon Club, Mr. and Mrs. Farmer, met through Pokémon? 😁 It's also why we got married on Pokémon Day 2023. That means today is our 3rd anniversary 🎉🎉🎉

Thank you all so much for being a part of our humble Pokémon Club. We hope to be sharing our love for Pokémon with this community for the years to come 🥰

Hello Peninsula Pokémon families!

A few days ago, we just wrapped up our first Pokémon Day celebration since founding our club two years ago. WOWEE, WHAT A TURNOUT WE HAD!!! 😃🤩🥳 We are over the Lunatone that our little club is growing so fast, just like our Trainers that joined us that night!

Due to the Buzzy Buzz our club is generating, we expected a larger attendance than our previous clubs. We made an online signup via Calendly in an attempt to regulate the crowd and even started keeping a record of our Trainers using the Trainer Pass.

Several people signed up online and plenty of you also loved the Trainer Pass. Unfortunately, despite the preparations and four hands-on volunteers serving our cause, we were still vastly underprepared for the event. Despite the online sign ups, we still had longer than planned games and wait times due to a number of factors including attendees who were unaware of our brand new sign up system and one of our volunteers calling in due to sickness.

We truly appreciate all the patience and kindness our Trainers and their families showed that day in spite of the challenges we faced as a growing club. To show our appreciation, we at the Peninsula Pokémon Club are working on several ideas to improve upon our time management, give our Trainers' families shorter wait times, and provide our Trainers with a safe and organized space to have fun and learn Pokémon. We truly appreciate your patience while we Evolve our operations.

We love our club and the community we built it around. The Peninsula Pokémon Club looks forward to having many more fun events with all of you in the future!

Here at our club, we welcome any and all experience levels! We teach games such as PokéCatch and My First Battle to really give our members the fundamentals of playing the Pokémon TCG before even moving on to the Demo Decks and Battle Academy.

EDIT: We do NOT take donations during club meetings! Please do not show up at our meetings with the intention of handing off your donations there. We want to give our members our undivided attention and handling dropoffs will hinder that.

Trying to make more room for your collection but struggling to offload your bulk? We can take them off your hands, sort them into packs with some of our rares in it, and gift them to our members who are growing their collections, building their decks, and trading with their friends!

ITEMS WE ACCEPT:
⭐️ Pokemon/Trainer/Energy cards
⭐️ Empty ETBs, tins, Premium Collection boxes, deck boxes, etc.
⭐️ Damage counters
⭐️ Posters/stickers
⭐️ Coins (for coin flips)
⭐️ Card sleeves, toploaders, dividers, paper playmats

CONDITIONS:
⭐️ Items must be in great condition
⭐️ Dropoffs ONLY! We cannot do pickups at this time

HOW TO MAKE A DONATION:
⭐️ You must Like and Follow the Peninsula Pokémon Club page (we want to expand our reach, after all!)
⭐️ Message us with the type and number of items you want to donate (e.g. I'm donating 100 Pokemon card bulk and 3 empty ETBs)
⭐️ We will organize a date, time, and place for the dropoff! (Likely somewhere public like a mall or a shop)

Please remember that we are a humble club run by Pokemon fans for Pokemon fans. We do not make any money off of this nor do we intend to so your support and donations mean a lot to us more than we can express.
