MISSION STATEMENT: DALY CITY VOLUNTEERS COALITION
We are a Daly City-wide coalition of individual neighborhood groups working together to provide a variety of volunteer opportunities for all interested residents. We promote community support of and involvement in actions which better our city for everyone.
We coordinate and cooperate among the groups with the sharing of information about volunteer opportunities as they arise. We assist new groups in their formation. We interact with City Hall staff to assure our activities are in keeping with City community improvement plans and programs and to identify volunteer support opportunities these plans and programs create.
OUR GOAL
To develop and maintain a network of local volunteer groups for the purpose of providing a wide range of volunteer opportunities for Daly City residents and to work with and through appropriate staff and departments at City Hall to make Daly City a beautiful, healthy and safe place to live.
