June is Men's Health Month—a great time to think beyond physical fitness and focus on preparedness, too.

Summer in North Georgia can bring severe thunderstorms, flash flooding, power outages, extreme heat, and other emergencies. One of the best ways to protect yourself and your loved ones is to build or update an emergency preparedness kit before disaster strikes.

✅ Water (at least one gallon per person per day)
✅ Non-perishable food
✅ Flashlight and extra batteries
✅ First aid supplies
✅ Medications and medical items
✅ Cell phone chargers and backup power sources
✅ Important documents
✅ Pet supplies, if needed

Being prepared isn't just smart—it's part of protecting your family's health and safety.

✅ Linterna y baterías adicionales
✅ Suministros de primeros auxilios
✅ Medicamentos y artículos médicos
✅ Cargadores de teléfono y baterías de respaldo
✅ Documentos importantes
