It was just a “tower” in the pond area that no one noticed.

We had a thought, “what if we paint it and honor Alan Peeples in a small way for all he has done for the Humane Society” 🐾

Our wonderful cat volunteer / artist Katya Spence drew up an idea and we loved it ❣️

Sabre “helped” get it painted red and ready for Katya to do her magic 🐾

Pia has grown up at the shelter and she is the last of her mom and siblings to find her person. She loves her friends, whip cream parties and new toys 🐾

She can be shy and it will take patience for her to feel comfortable in a new home 💕.

Enzo went to a fabulous home today. We still have two left, Monty and Junie. We will be open Friday from 3 PM until 5 PM and Saturday 11 AM until 2 PM at the Humane Society 1210 Veterans Dr. Dalton Georgia. Come meet your new best friend.

For nearly two years, Harley has been waiting patiently for his forever family. He arrived at the Humane Society with seven other puppies, and now his last sibling has been adopted, leaving Harley still hoping his turn will come.

This sweet Whippet/Rat Terrier mix weighs just 18 pounds, but his heart is enormous. Harley adores people and would be the most loving, loyal guy you’ve ever met.

After waiting so long, Harley deserves to know what it feels like to have a family of his own. Please come meet this wonderful little guy and give him the chance he’s been dreaming of—a loving forever home.
