THE NEW YEAR MARKS NEW BEGINNINGS!

We are so excited to announce, after many months of hard work, your Boys & Girls Clubs have merged with Gilmer and Pickens County clubs to become The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Georgia!

We had the amazing opportunity to tour Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and get the whole team together (staff and board members from all six counties) to collaborate and dream big for 2025! We also received a special guest appearance from BGCA President Jim Clark.

We couldn't do this without all the support of our staff, donors, and community members!

A big THANK YOU for the continued support of Panda Express’s Panda Cares Project Learn Grant, which supports our academic success programs at our Carl Rollins Unit, Dalton Teen Center, and Gordon County Unit.

We appreciate the support of our local Panda Express’ and the opportunity to partner with them.

On Friday, some of our teens competed in the Youth-of-the-Year local qualifying competition to determine who would advance to the next level.

The first-place winner was Evoli Lowe, and the second-place winner was Robert Gilbert.

Candidates have been preparing for the interview process, writing and practicing their speeches. Each teen spoke on how the Boys & Girls Club has impacted their lives.

Thank you to our judges for volunteering to their time.

We couldn't be more proud of our teens, and a huge congratulations to Evoli and Robert.

Thank you so much to Dalton High School's basketball team for passing on some of your skills to our club kids! They had a blast learning to dribble and pass, and they can't wait for next time!

Christmas shenanigans have begun! It's Grinch Week at Carl Rollins. Special guest appearances include Cindy Lou Who, the Grinch himself, and our very own Club elf.

Our Chattooga Club hosted its annual Thanksgiving lunch! Kids and parents enjoyed all the Turkey Day staples, banana pudding, peach cobbler, and finished the afternoon off at the photo booth!

Thank you so much to Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader and his team for serving lunch today. What a wonderful time of fellowship for our parents, kids, staff, and community.
