Nori’s name comes from the Hebrew word meaning “Light,” and she truly lives up to her name. ❤️
Nori’s story began in the Rio Grande Valley, where she was found tied to an old truck. She was later adopted, then sadly given away, and now she’s safe with us and looking for the forever family she deserves.
At about 2½ years old and 25 pounds, Nori is fully grown and perfectly petite! She has a unique look- perhaps a Mini English Coonhound mix- but whatever her breed, one thing is certain: she is absolutely adorable.
Nori is a sweet, gentle girl with a happy disposition and so much love to give. She dreams of finding her special person to follow around, cuddle with, and devote herself to for the rest of her life.
🐾 Wonderful with other dogs
🐾 Loves playing and zoomies
🐾 Potty trained
🐾 Knows basic commands like sit and lie down
🐾 Loves car rides
🐾 Enjoys toys and playing fetch
🐾 Calm, well-behaved, and affectionate
Nori can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and is never aggressive. Her favorite thing in the world is playing with other dogs, so she’d love a canine companion or even doggy daycare!
We’re looking for a home where someone is around more often than not, and where Nori can enjoy the companionship she craves. She would do best with older children simply because she hasn’t been around toddlers.
Nori is currently being treated for light heartworm disease and is expected to make a full recovery.
Could this sweet little ray of light be the missing piece in your family? ☀️
