Every week hundreds of gorgeous dogs are put to death by local shelters. Most people would be amazed at the purebred dogs if they walked into their neighborhood shelter. Rescue organizations like ours work hard to save as many as we possibly can but is a never-ending process with breeders and Puppy Mills selling unhealthy animals to the public. All of our dogs are neutered/spayed, vet checked, all

shots, dewormed, groomed, and checked for heartworms. They are all are current on Heartworm preventative medicine and flea and tick meds. Every dog is microchipped prior to adoption. Adoption fee is $350 for adult dogs and puppies over 7 months and older. This is to cover our costs for vet care, food, medication, surgery if needed, spay/neuter, microchip and other expenses. Doodles and poodles have an additional $50 charge to cover grooming. Some of the dogs we rescue have heart worms (more common for ones we save from the shelter), which is very expensive to treat and some need surgery. We have to set a standard fee....the goal is to stay ahead of the rescue bills; but is always a battle of expenses for the little ones, so please understand why there is a fee. For senior dogs, 9 years or older, the adoption fee is $150. Thank you so much for your support and consideration of our dog rescue! Please email me at [email protected] for an application. I do not usually adopt out my dogs with children under two to three years old. Please encourage all you know to adopt!!! We are in the North Dallas area; but participate in events all over Dallas [mostly] and Collin and several other counties. I am out of foster homes and I need more to save more unwanted dogs! Let me know if you are interested in fostering a little one!!! http://www.petfinder.com/pet-search?shelterid=TX1568

Nori’s name comes from the Hebrew word meaning “Light,” and she truly lives up to her name. ❤️

Nori’s story began in the Rio Grande Valley, where she was found tied to an old truck. She was later adopted, then sadly given away, and now she’s safe with us and looking for the forever family she deserves.

At about 2½ years old and 25 pounds, Nori is fully grown and perfectly petite! She has a unique look- perhaps a Mini English Coonhound mix- but whatever her breed, one thing is certain: she is absolutely adorable.

Nori is a sweet, gentle girl with a happy disposition and so much love to give. She dreams of finding her special person to follow around, cuddle with, and devote herself to for the rest of her life.

🐾 Wonderful with other dogs
🐾 Loves playing and zoomies
🐾 Potty trained
🐾 Knows basic commands like sit and lie down
🐾 Loves car rides
🐾 Enjoys toys and playing fetch
🐾 Calm, well-behaved, and affectionate

Nori can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and is never aggressive. Her favorite thing in the world is playing with other dogs, so she’d love a canine companion or even doggy daycare!

We’re looking for a home where someone is around more often than not, and where Nori can enjoy the companionship she craves. She would do best with older children simply because she hasn’t been around toddlers.

Nori is currently being treated for light heartworm disease and is expected to make a full recovery.

Could this sweet little ray of light be the missing piece in your family? ☀️

Please share to help Nori find the loving forever home she deserves! ❤️🐾

Meet Duchess this Thursday at Armor Brewing. Details in last photo.

I am telling you. Duchess = perfection.

Youthful energy? ✅ Just enough maturity? ✅ Kennel trained? ✅ Potty trained? ✅ Patio approved? ✅ Good with other dogs? ✅ Good with kids? ✅ Good with cats? ✅ Good in the car? ✅ Nice about taking treats? ✅ Good on a leash? . . . Ok, that one’s a “definitely mostly” but we are working on it. 😂 Seriously though, if you are looking for a unicorn of a dog, it’s this girl. Apply to adopt at CodysFriendsRescue.org.

Thursday night date with Nacho?! Come meet him at Armor Brewing- details in the last photo.

NACHO 🧡 is “nacho” average pup! He’s a love-hard, play-hard kind of guy, who thinks he’s a big boy when he’s really just a small fry. In fact, he tussles with his much larger foster siblings and always finds the biggest sticks in the yard to carry around. He’s also very smart and coming along great on his potty training. On a hot day, he delights in relaxing over some doggie ice cream, and one of his favorite pastimes is learning new tricks for treats.

NACHO is one of 13 pups from the Nevada litter, which consists of a wild mix of DNA. His mom is a red merle cattle dog, while his dad is a complete mystery. If we had to guess, we’d say he has a touch of Pyrenees or Anatolian. Either way, he’s smart, affectionate, and loyal. At 3 months old and 10 pounds, we expect him to be a medium-to-large size dog. Nacho is up to date on shots and is microchipped

Meet NACHO at upcoming Cody’s Friends Meet & Greet events. Submit an online adoption application to get the process started. We can also schedule a private meet up.

Oliver was in a local shelter and was on the EU list due to being shy. He is super cute and has such beautiful eyes. They are hazel colored and large and bright and make him a stand out.. He is super cuddly and absolutely ADORES children - we will repeat.., he LOVES children . He is about 1.5 years old, and weighs 15 lbs. His skin color is very different and a very light taupe color. We think he lived outside all his life, and it makes us sad becaus he is so deserving. . He is heartworm positive but we are treating him. Applications for Oliver are at codysfriendsrescue.org

Skyler’s story began on the streets of the Rio Grande Valley, where countless dogs struggle to survive outdoors and very few ever get the chance to be rescued. We first learned about Skyler when she was found caring for her puppies, Mercedes and Chevy- both of whom are now safe with us.

Skyler is estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old and weighs about 40 pounds. Despite her difficult start in life, she is one of the sweetest, most loving dogs you’ll ever meet. She has a calm, laid-back personality and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes.

After spending her life outside, Skyler is clearly grateful for the comforts of a home. She loves being cherished by her foster mom and has embraced indoor living with ease. She’s house-trained, affectionate, and ready to become someone’s beloved companion.

Skyler would make a wonderful addition to many different types of homes. If you’re looking for a gentle, easygoing dog with a heart full of love, Skyler may be your girl.

Skyler’s Details:
• Female
• Approximately 1 year, 7 months old
• 40 pounds
• Spayed
• Vaccinations up to date
• House-trained
• Good with kids
• Good with dogs
• Cats: Unknown
