Good Shepherd Rescue of Texas Good Shepherd Rescue is a 501(c)(3) organization that has been in continuous operation since 1999 in the Dallas / Ft Worth area.

We focus on rescue, rehabilitation & rehoming German Shepherd Dogs, as well as Belgian Malinois & Dutch Shepherds. All dogs in our program are in private foster homes. We provide medical care for gravely ill / injured dogs, spay / neuter, microchip, vaccinate, deworm, heartworm test & heartworm treat if applicable. 25% of our adoptions are with repeat families each year.

Reese is a very happy girl born 12.2025. She has been through a LOT. Found with a badly infected, broken leg. It was a process to get her relayed to us & provide the medical care needed. The orthopedic surgeon did NOT want to do surgery on the leg because the healing process was "too far along". We concentrated on the infection & now the wound is completely closed. Reese has never let anything slow her down. She loves everyone & every dog she meets.

Helix is a lovable boy born 03.2026. He is great with other dogs & people. House & crate trained, but needs leash work and more socialization. He needs a confident canine companion that can, in turn, build his confidence. GSD experienced home would be ideal! Bonds very quickly with his human(s).
