For generations, CCME has brought together leaders, educators, and professionals dedicated to expanding educational opportunities for the military-connected community.

Our legacy is our foundation. Our future is innovation.

We invite military, education, government, workforce development, and industry professionals to submit engaging, practical, and forward-looking proposals aligned with one or more of our four tracks:

-Honoring Our Legacy, Leading Through Change

-Ready for What Comes Next: Education as a Force Multiplier

-Beyond the Degree: Demonstrating Pathways to Career Success

-AI, Innovation, and Integrity: Transforming Learning and Work

Happy 79th Birthday, U.S. Air Force!

Today, September 18, we honor the men and women of the United States Air Force, established in 1947 under the National Security Act as an independent branch of our nation's armed forces.

For nearly eight decades, Airmen have defended our skies, advanced innovation, and answered the call to serve with courage and precision.

At CCME, we're proud to stand alongside the Air Force community, supporting Airmen and their families as they pursue higher education, credentials, and career opportunities alongside their service.

Whether balancing coursework with a deployment schedule or transitioning skills learned in uniform into a civilian career, Air Force students embody the same discipline and drive that define their service.

To every Airman, veteran, and Air Force family: thank you for your service and sacrifice. Here's to 79 years of reaching higher, together.

Twenty-five years ago today, the world changed in a single morning and a generation answered the call to serve.

Today, we pause to remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the First responders, Service members, and Families who carried the weight of that day forward.

At CCME, we see the legacy of that day everywhere: in the veterans who became educators, the service members pursuing degrees between deployments, and the military spouses building careers while holding families together.

Their resilience didn't end when the uniform came off. It carried into lecture halls, advising offices, and virtual classrooms across the country, where education became the next mission.

We remember. We honor. We continue the work of building pathways for those who answered the call because service doesn't stop, and neither does our commitment to those who serve.

Take a moment today to thank a Service member, Veteran, a First responder, or a Gold Star family member in your life.

Labor Day honors the workers who built this country. It also honors the ones still building their future while serving it.

Today, while most of the country rests, thousands of service members are studying between duty shifts.

Military spouses are finishing degrees between PCS moves. Veterans are sitting in classrooms after years in uniform, translating discipline into diplomas.

That's labor too. It doesn't clock out at 5pm, and it rarely gets noticed.

At CCME, we see this work every day the advisors staying late to untangle transfer credit, the college partners building pathways that actually fit military life, the employers who show up not just to hire, but to understand what military experience is really worth.

This Labor Day, we're recognizing a different kind of workforce the one earning its next chapter one course, one credential, one hard-won hour at a time.

To every military-connected learner grinding it out today we see the work. Keep going.
