The Food Pantry is open on Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 10:00 - 1:00. The Rock House Thrift Store is open Monday - Saturday from 10:00 - 6:00. The Free Medical Clinic and Free Dental Clinic are open by appointment.

Each year, these special ornaments celebrate the town we all love while helping us care for the neighbors who call it home. ❤️

Did you know that Community Helping Place offers mental health counseling services?

Our Mental Health Coordinator, Terri, recently had the opportunity to share information about CHP's counseling services with the Lumpkin County Collaborative, helping spread awareness of the resources available right here in our community.

We are grateful for opportunities like this to connect with community partners, share what CHP has to offer, and work together to make sure our neighbors know where to turn for support.

One year. So many moments. So much made possible by our community. 💙

At this year’s Gold Party, we took a few minutes to look back at the past year at Community Helping Place and we wanted to share that look back with all of you, too.

From meeting basic needs and providing essential services to creating connections, offering support, and walking alongside our neighbors, every moment in this video represents people in our community coming together to help one another.

✨ Gold Party Highlight: Learning More About CHP

One of the highlights of this year’s Gold Party was our six interactive CHP trivia stations. Guests had the opportunity to visit each station, learn more about a different area of CHP’s work, see the impact of our programs, and ask questions of our team.

439,181 pounds of food distributed through the CHP Food Pantry

☀️ Summer Food Program
585 breakfasts and lunches provided this summer

🩺Clinic
1653 medical visits and 714 dental visits provided annually

🚐 Transportation
An average of 75 transports each month

🤝 Case Management
2,010 individuals received intensive case management last year

🛍️ Thrift Store
$348,607 in annual income to support CHP's services.

The numbers tell an important part of the story, but we also loved seeing the conversations they started. Guests stopped to ask questions, learn something new, and discover more about the many ways Community Helping Place serves our community.
