💚 **Meet Alana!**

Giving back and serving her community has always been a passion of Alana’s. Before joining CHP, she volunteered with the CHP Free Clinic for nearly two years, where she had the opportunity to lead the Health and Wellness and Food Is Medicine grants. That experience allowed her to combine her passion for helping others with her education and interest in healthcare administration.

Her heart for service began even earlier through volunteer work with the Ronald McDonald House, community nursing homes, and F.I.S.H. (Faith in Serving Humanity) in Monroe, Georgia. Each experience has strengthened her desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others and contribute to the healthcare field in a meaningful way.

When she’s not working or volunteering, Alana loves spending time with her husband and their two young children. And, of course, no introduction would be complete without mentioning their two favorite couch potatoes—Apollo and Oreo, the family dogs! 🐾

We’re so glad to have Alana as part of the CHP family! 💚

Welcome to the team!
Michelle serves as Community Engagement Manager for Community Helping Place. She and her husband, Noah, are proud residents of Lumpkin County and enjoy serving their community together. Michelle has a long history of community involvement, having served as a Family Advocate with Family Connection and volunteered with CASA and PFLAG. She is also an active member of Georgia Mountain Unitarian Universalist Church. Through her work and volunteer service, Michelle is passionate about building connections and strengthening the Lumpkin County community.

The Tomato Sandwich Supper wouldn't be possible without the incredible dedication of our four host churches: Dahlonega Baptist Church, Dahlonega Methodist Church, St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church, and St. Peter Lutheran Church.
For weeks before the event-and all throughout the big day-they faithfully serve by slicing tomatoes, cooking bacon, baking homemade desserts, directing traffic in the Georgia heat, greeting guests with smiles, serving meals, and tackling countless behind-the-scenes tasks. Their love, generosity, and servant hearts are what makes this cherished tradition possible.
From all of us at Community Helping Place, and the thousands of neighbors whose lives are touched through the Anne Green Free Clinic, thank you for being such an incredible blessing to our community!
