Now that 2025 has come to a close, we send a big thank you to our donors, our volunteers, our partners, our sponsors for a successful year and look forward to their continued support. With their help, we funded monthly books to 750 county preschoolers through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, distributed a dictionary to every third grader and a set of novels to the middle school, and provided about 39 scholarships for those acquiring a GED.

Lumpkin Literacy was so kind to donate boxes worth of various books! From children reads, to young adults books, to books the parents can enjoy!

One of our board members who is a treasure to us and is heavily involved with Lumpkin Literacy, said “Books are essential, we want them to be a normalcy in their life and in their homes.” These words are so true…readers are leaders!!

We are delighted that others want to read. Reading can expose one to imaginative adventures, factual information, and inspirational guidance.
