Thank you to Carrie Roy, Dathan Hubert, Kim Wathen and everyone who has donated through Venmo towards Tesha’s fundraiser. Everyone says we love Dahlonega because it’s a small town with a community. Now is the time to show how great of a small town we are. There are so many people in Lumpkin County that want to help in our town but do not know where to begin. Tesha needs a dependable vehicle to get them to and from hospital visits. Tesha has two young boys and a lot of days she does not have the strength to cook. Her husband is not working at this time but is picking up side jobs to earn money for his family and caring for Tesha. She is on one of the strongest chemo’s available and her first round was two weeks ago and her body had a bad reaction to it that lasted several days. Ways you can help someone in our community!

If you are able, this family has a newborn and they will be at Scottish Rite for a while for surgeries. All funds will assist the family with gas, food, lodging and monthly expenses during this difficult time. Every little bit helps! Thank you to everyone who came out this past Saturday to support the girls and their heifers at our local Tractor Supply. The weather was beautiful, and the girls truly enjoyed visiting with everyone and sharing about their livestock projects! Cheyenne will be taking three heifers to the Eastern Brahman Breeders Association Extravaganza coming up in May and Kenzie is hoping to begin working with her new show calf in a few weeks. This lady was an Angel from above! Her and her sister and their husbands provided everything and more that was on a Christmas list for a family this Christmas. Although we didn’t know her long, she made an everlasting impact with Team Give Back and we are honored to have known her. Praying for her family and friends during this difficult time.
