A new chapter begins today in ONE30 Trade School Uganda 🇺🇬

Formerly known as Uganda Trade School Kakoma, we are excited to officially introduce our new name, new location, and new leadership as we reopen in Mbarara as ONE30 Trade School Uganda.

Today, parents of 18 students brought their child to report for the new term — a powerful reminder that lives, futures, and generations are being impacted through education, discipleship, and opportunity.

We are honored to welcome our new director, Ruth Katwesigye, whose leadership, ministry experience, and heart for mentoring young people will help guide this next season.

What began in Kakoma is renewed with fresh vision and purpose:
✨ Equipping students with practical skills
✨ Developing leaders with character and faith
✨ Creating opportunities for lasting transformation

Our team finally made it to Ibanda to capture photos of these sweet faces! 💛

Because of generous sponsors like these children are now sleeping safely in a solid brick dorm—the building you see in the background of the two buildings. What a gift!

The first building is a classroom the pastor built to keep the school from being shut down. Now, he needs help finishing it.
