A new school year is here, and our incredible School Liaison is busy making sure our local schools are stocked and ready, because no student should ever have to miss class or go without because of her period. 💗

What a special few days for Les Dames!

This week, we have the joy of celebrating TWO incredible women, one of our founders, Laura, and one of our original board members, Samantha!

From the very beginning, these two visionary leaders believed that together, women could make a difference. What started as a dream to serve our local community has grown into a movement reaching across Alabama and beyond, impacting the lives of countless women and girls.

To know Laura and Samantha is to love them, and to be loved by them in return. They are the very definition of kindness, grace, leadership, and style. Every day, they embody our mission of women raising women, working tirelessly until period poverty is a thing of the past.

Please join us in wishing these two remarkable ladies a very happy birthday!

Laura and Samantha, thank you for your unwavering vision, your servant hearts, and the legacy you continue to build. Les Dames is stronger because of you, and we are incredibly grateful to celebrate you today.

Because of YOU… look what’s happening 💛

Since January, we’ve seen something incredible unfold. Women showing up, pouring into one another, and creating real change in our communities.

✨ Les Dames USA officially launched, expanding our mission and impact
☕ We celebrated YOU at our Members’ Appreciation Tea, honoring the volunteers who make this work possible
🌸 March is for Matriarchs grew in a powerful way
• Cullman hosted our largest gathering yet with wisdom from Dr. Elizabeth Shaddix, Heather Gudger, and Lyndsey Todd
• Arab hosted their first-ever event with Cindy Ingram, Wanda Shipp, and Kristy Thomas

These moments reminded us what this is all about:
Women raising women.

💙 And the impact continues in our schools…
We installed 2 new schools: St. Bernard High School and St. Bernard Middle School - bringing our total to 19 schools with free feminine hygiene products available.

That’s 19 campuses where young women now have one less barrier standing in their way.

This is how we end period poverty, together.

And we’re not stopping here…
Our goal? 1,000 schools in the next 5 years.

We’re just getting started.
