What an incredible week at Rainforest Falls VBS! 🌿🐒💦
Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude as we reflect on all that God did through this amazing week. From exciting adventures and worship to meaningful lessons about our core values, we watched children grow in faith, friendship, and their understanding of God's love.
A huge THANK YOU to all of our volunteers who gave their time, energy, and hearts to make this week possible. Whether you taught lessons, led games, served snacks, decorated, welcomed families, or worked behind the scenes, your dedication made a lasting impact on every child who attended.
We also want to recognize and thank our service workers and support staff who helped keep everything running smoothly throughout the week. Your hard work often goes unseen, but it is deeply appreciated.
A very special thank you goes to Bells Barnyard Babies Petting Zoo and Exotics for bringing their incredible animal ambassadors, including lemurs and kinkajous! The children loved this unique experience, and it provided a memorable way to connect with the core values and lessons of Rainforest Falls VBS while learning about God's amazing creation.
Thank you to every child, parent, volunteer, and supporter who made this week so special. We are grateful for the memories made, the friendships formed, and the seeds of faith planted. We can't wait to see what God has in store next year!

We have started Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church!

We had an amazing first day at Rainforest Falls, learning about how God is our creator!

What an incredible turnout for our Movie Night! 🍿🎬

We had such a great time gathering together to watch A Great Awakening, a powerful film that explores spiritual revival, biblical truth, and the urgent need for people to turn back to God in a dark and confused world.

We are so thankful for everyone who came out and especially for all of the volunteers who helped make the evening possible. From setup to snacks to cleanup, your servant hearts made a huge difference!

Events like these remind us how important community, fellowship, and Christ-centered conversations truly are. We’re already looking forward to hosting more events like this in the future!

Join us this Memorial Day at First Baptist Church as we gather in the sanctuary at 5pm to watch A Great Awakening. As we remember those who gave their lives for our nation, may we also pray for spiritual awakening in our homes, churches, and country. We would love for you, your family, and friends to come and be encouraged with us.

We had a wonderful time at today’s Promises Ministry Luncheon!

Judge Jennifer Johnson kicked things off with an inspiring presentation on the Declaration of Independence—sharing both the “how” and “why” behind this foundational document, including how faith was instrumental in its development. She also invited everyone to the upcoming Semi-Quincentennial County Celebration on Monday, May 18 at the courthouse.

Next, Joyce from the Garden Club of the Tri-Counties delighted us with a refreshing talk on the therapeutic benefits of gardening (“playing in the dirt”). She followed with a hands-on demonstration showing how to propagate plants from cuttings and beautifully combine different varieties in a flowerpot. Best of all, she provided plants, pots, and soil so every attendee could create their own beautiful container garden to take home!

It was a joyful and enriching afternoon filled with great company, meaningful reminders of our nation’s history, and the simple pleasures of gardening. We’re so grateful for everyone who joined us!
