Our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers go out to the family and friends of Kenneth Faile-Hood, as well as the entire Harlem Middle School community, as you mourn the heartbreaking and unexpected loss of Kenneth.

There are no words that can truly ease the pain of losing someone so unexpectedly, but please know that you are surrounded by love, care, and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. May God wrap His loving arms around Kenneth’s family, friends, classmates, teachers, and everyone whose life he touched.

Our family is praying for comfort, strength, peace, and healing for each of you. May you feel God’s presence in the days ahead and find comfort in the love and memories that will forever remain.

📚❤️ Help Us Put Books Into the Hands of Children Who Need Them Most ❤️📚

At Smile for Shay, one of our missions is helping provide books to at-risk youth in low-income households throughout the CSRA. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to discover the joy of reading and the doors that books can open. We always told Shaylin Foster readers are leaders, help us make more leaders in the local community.

First, we want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has already donated books and supported this effort. Your generosity is already making a difference, and we are incredibly grateful for the community that continues to stand behind these children.

As we prepare for our upcoming book giveaway event Summer Book Bash at the Augusta HUB, we are still in need of additional books to ensure every child has plenty of options to choose from.
