For years, Bernard has been the kind of person who connects people, opens doors, shows up, and helps make good things happen behind the scenes.

A huge THANK YOU to Goodwill Industries - Big Bend, Inc. for sponsoring and sharing more about the incredible work they do to create jobs, build skills, and open doors for people in our community. We’re especially excited about the new Goodwill facility going up on the south end of Ferdon Boulevard and the opportunities it will bring to Crestview!

We also welcomed a great group of NEW Chamber members, one of the best parts of breakfast and one of the biggest benefits of Chamber membership: getting in the room, making connections, and letting people know who you are and what you do.

Our Business Highlight was Gordon Martial Arts 🥋, a fantastic local business helping students build confidence, discipline, strength, and skills that last well beyond the mat.

And we rounded out the morning with community updates from Mayor J.B. Whitten, County Commissioner Carolyn Ketchel, and Senator Don Gaetz - Florida Senate District 1.

Great people, great connections, and a great way to start the day. Thank you to everyone who joined us! ❤️

We couldn't agree more and we are incredibly proud to partner with an organization that does so much to support entrepreneurs and small businesses across Northwest Florida.
We are especially grateful to have Chip Wells and John Emsing serving businesses right here in our community.🤩
From helping new businesses get started to connecting established businesses with resources, capital, and opportunities for growth, their impact is felt throughout our region.

🚗💨 ROAD TRIPPIN’ to A Bed 4 Me Foundation!🛏️💙
We loved getting a closer look at the incredible work A Bed 4 Me Foundation is doing for children right here in our community.

One thing we learned: there is no income verification required for a child to receive a bed. Their goal is simply to make sure kids have a safe, comfortable place to sleep.

Want to help? Here’s what they need most:
🛏️ New twin-size comforters and sheet sets, with solid colors preferred so items can easily be matched
☁️ New standard-size pillows
💵 Monetary donations, which allow them to purchase exactly what is needed
🙋 Volunteers, especially here in Crestview, one of the communities they serve most heavily
We also loved learning that local quilting guilds help make sure the “plus-one kiddos,” such as siblings who may not be receiving a bed themselves, still receive something special. ❤️

And talk about community partnerships: Okaloosa Gas generously provides their warehouse space!
