🙌📚🤗This week’s Meet a Member Wednesday shines a spotlight on the Crestview Resource Center (CRC), led by Dr. Cheryl Perry and Jill Lewis-Daggs!

CRC serves as a valuable resource hub for our community, helping connect individuals and families with services and support through partnerships with numerous non-profits, government agencies, and community organizations.

From their computer lab and basic computer training to resume assistance, legal services, help obtaining free cell phones, and more, CRC works every day to empower those in need and strengthen our community.

We are proud to have CRC as a member of the Crestview Chamber and appreciate the important role they play in helping our neighbors access the resources they need. 🇺🇸 Our June Military Affairs Committee (MAC) meeting at Home2 Suites by Hilton was another great success with an outstanding turnout from members, community leaders, and military partners.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn about a recent Global Health Engagement mission in Suriname, where military medical teams provided care to more than 2,000 residents and children while strengthening partnerships throughout the region. These missions not only make a meaningful impact abroad but also help ensure our service members remain ready to respond wherever they are needed. Go 919th Special Operations Wing❤️‍🔥

A special thank you to Neko Stubblefield, Eglin Federal Credit Union for her outstanding leadership as Chair of our MAC. Her dedication, passion for supporting our military community, and commitment to building strong connections between our service members and local businesses continue to make this committee one of the Chamber's most impactful programs.

🇺🇸 The Crestview Chamber was proud to attend the America 250 Gala & Drone Show celebrating our nation’s 250th birthday.

Our Chairman, John Feeney, represented Lewis Morris and had the opportunity to sign the Declaration of Independence during the reenactment, while Chairman Emeritus Tom Moody did a fantastic job portraying Paul Revere.

One of the most interesting parts of the evening was hearing about each signer of the Declaration. We also learned that having 10 to 18 children was pretty common back then. Apparently, helping found a country still left plenty of time for raising a very large family.

We had a wonderful time celebrating America’s 250th birthday with so many familiar faces from across Okaloosa County. 🇺🇸

Meet our Chairman of the Board, John Feeney with Alday Howell Engineering… and yes, “conquered Crestview” feels like the right phrase here.

Just a little over five years ago, he jumped into the Chamber world and hasn’t slowed down since. Somewhere between meetings, projects, and probably a few cups of coffee, he also played a key role in the downtown Crestview infrastructure renovation you’ve all been enjoying.

When he’s not helping shape our community, you’ll likely find him at home in DeFuniak Springs tending to his garden like a pro…🌳 or out and about across Okaloosa and Walton County doing what he does best.

Basically, if something big is happening, there’s a decent chance John’s already been there, fixed it, or improved it.🤓
