Yesterday was a great day of service and leadership for our Lions family!

One of our members, Lion Lou Jones, had the honor of inducting the officers of the Fort Walton Beach/Sonic City Lions Club with Lion Charlotte Jones and Lion Sarah Stone. Later that day they also attended the very first meeting of the new Baker Lions Club Branch, helping support and encourage the growth of Lions service in our neighboring communities.

We are incredibly proud of our members and the strong partnerships being built between Lions Clubs throughout our area. By working together, sharing ideas, and supporting one another, we can make an even greater impact in the communities we serve.

Congratulations to the Fort Walton Beach/Sonic City Lions Club on their new officers, and best wishes to the Baker Lions Club Branch as they begin this exciting new chapter of service!

🌱🌼 Congratulations to the Crestview Garden Club! 🌼🌱

The Crestview Lions Club would like to congratulate the Crestview Garden Club on being recognized at the Crestview City Council meeting last night and on the proclamation declaring this week as Garden Week in Crestview!

The Garden Club has made a tremendous impact on our community through a community garden, educational programs, and their dedication to promoting gardening and environmental stewardship. Their efforts help make Crestview a more beautiful and vibrant place to live.

We are proud to partner with the Crestview Garden Club and support their work, including activities at the Higher Ground Community Garden, Crestview where residents can learn, grow, and enjoy fresh produce together.

What an incredible weekend for our community!

The Crestview Lions Club was proud to be part of the Remote Area Medical (RAM) Clinic held in Crestview on May 30–31. Thanks to the dedication of more than 300 volunteers, over 350 patients received care, and more than $250,000 in free medical, dental, and vision services were provided to those in need.

This event would not have been possible without the support of so many amazing organizations, businesses, churches, and community partners. We would especially like to thank Dinner at Dad’s for hosting the event and helping make this service available to our community.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. On this Memorial Day, the Crestview Lions Club extends our deepest gratitude to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy every day. 🇺🇸

As we spend time with family and friends, let us also take a moment to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of our fallen heroes and the families who carry their legacy forward.

The Crestview Lions Club had a great time attending Demo Day at the Higher Ground Community Garden, Crestview alongside the Crestview Garden Club!

We enjoyed learning from Master Gardener Dean Clary and getting hands on experience harvesting potatoes, green onions, beets, peas, bell peppers, banana peppers, and tomatoes. 🌱🍅🥔

Did you know the Crestview Lions Club has two plots at the community garden? It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn about planting and growing fresh fruits and vegetables while also enjoying the harvest with the community.

We encourage everyone to follow the Crestview Garden Club and stop by the Higher Ground Community Garden if you’re in the area. If you’re interested in joining or learning more, feel free to come out to the next Demo Day or reach out for more information. 🌿💙💛

🎶 Join us this Saturday for a unique celebration of history, heritage, and culture at the Baker Block Museum’s “Native Flutes & Traditions” event! 🎶

The event will honor Indigenous identity and culture through Native American flute & drum music, dance, regalia, and genealogy presentations. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy an afternoon of culture and community at the Charles and Jeanette Henderson Heritage Park in Baker.

The Crestview Lions Club always encourages our community to support local organizations that preserve history and bring people together, and the Baker Block Museum is doing just that right here in Okaloosa County.
