Day 3 of 4-H Congress! 🍀🤍

What a busy day!

Delegates completed their 3rd and final workshop of Congress and later attended an opportunity fair.

Cora Hodges was inducted and tapped in as a Virginia 4-H All Star, which is the highest achievement of a Virginia 4-Her!

We all got dressed up and ready for photos, dinner, Clover Fest, and then the dance. The teens clean up pretty nice!

At the end of the dance, they named the 2026-2027 Virginia 4-H Cabinet. Peyton Broughman will represent Alleghany County and Virginia in the Southwest District.

With all of that, there’s quite a bit to celebrate but please help us congratulate Cora and Peyton on their accomplishments today. We’re very proud of them and their involvement with Alleghany 4-H! 🍀🤍

Each night, we hold different theme nights that dress up is optional for. Below, we have included the theme nights as well as a description to help you and your kiddo decide what they want to dress up as.
