We would like to give a BIG shout to Lillian Pascino! This amazing girl built this coop with her family for the rescue chickens! She did this as her Eagle Scout project. She even raised the building funds, including her family's help after a donor backed out. Thank you so much, it’s a beautiful coop and our chickies will LOVE it!

Hello! My name is Caitlin Brown, I’m a student at Rockville High School, and a Bolton CT resident/Bolton troop 73 member. I am also an Eagle Scout Candidate. This is a major accomplishment that I’m so excited to be presented with the opportunity of achieving. As one of the requirements to achieve this rank, I need to complete an Eagle Scout Service Project.

I have volunteered at Tara Farm Rescue (located in Coventry, CT) for several years now and picked out a fantastic project with them! I am working to raise funds to get them a new run-in horse shelter. There are several ways you can help! Linked is a GoFundMe. ALL proceeds go directly towards the project. Any leftover funds are donated to the rescue.

Additionally, I will be providing guided trail rides at Tara Farm! A flier with more info is attached as well. Please feel free to reach out to me via my phone number, email, or private messages on Facebook. I appreciate any and all donations or help with this project!

A few friends of Tara Farm Rescue are looking for companion horses to join their families!

We are also looking for companions for a few of our rescues ready to go to thier new homes.

These horses must be able to go out on grass pasture and will be cherished as companions in their forever homes.

If you know of any companion horses looking for loving homes, we'd be happy to help connect you with our friends in need. Please reach out to Tara Farm Rescue for more information or to make a connection.

Thank you for helping us spread the word! ❤️🐴

Available from Tara Farm Rescue:

Mr. Bubbles

Sweet large pony gelding loves to work and WOULD BE GREAT IN A LESSON PROGRAM! Great with kids, but should have an intermediate rider as he is a forward mover. He would not be suitable for pony parties.

14 hands, 16 year-old grey gelding
Barefoot
He does have allergies so he can not eat regular hay (chopped hay only) and he gets an allergy supplement.
UTD on everything (farrier, shots, teeth, bodywork).

Great personality, loves to jump, go on trail, and do gymkhana games. Turns on a dime. Can go English or Western.
He is believed to be a cross of Welsh/Arab or QH/Welsh.
