Get your Girl Scout Cookies this weekend! Some of our Girl Scouts are outside the Columbia Congregational Church Community Breakfast this morning until 10:30 (look for our signs in the center). If you're not an early riser, our troop will also be at Walmart North Windham today 10am-4pm and Sunday 12-4pm. Need help deciding? Our girls are happy to suggest their favorites or you can spin our cookie wheel!

Come visit Troop 65004 outside Wendy's North Windham THIS Saturday and stock up on delicious Girl Scout cookies! We'll have all of your favorites, including the new Exploremores, from 12-4pm. All varieties are $6 and we also accept donations to our Cookies for Heroes program. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, PayPal & Venmo. Thank you for supporting your local Girl Scouts!

It's everyone's favorite time of year... Girl Scout cookie season! Our Girl Scouts are already busy making deliveries and scheduling local cookie booths. If you have a location or community event where you would like us to set up a booth in Columbia, Lebanon, or Willimantic/Windham within the next month, please message us and we'd be happy to set one up!

If you don't know a Girl Scout personally, you may order from our troop link here and one of our Girl Scouts can deliver cookies to you (or you can pay to have them shipped right to your door).

We appreciate your support! We also accept donations to the Cookies for Heroes program, in which we help distribute cookies to first responders, military personnel and other hometown heroes.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! We are thankful for our families and friends, as well as our community!

In our fourth year as a troop, our Girl Scouts are focusing more on how to give back to our local towns' residents and organizations this year.

Did you know that you can bake a delicious cake using a can of Sprite instead of eggs and oil/butter? We made and tried one and confirmed it was hard to tell the difference. In October, in honor of Girl Scout Founder Juliette Gordon Low's birthday, our girls put together "Sprite" birthday cake tins that were donated to Covenant Soup Kitchen because "everyone should have a cake on their birthday." These tins will last until they are needed since everything inside is non-perishable.

This Sunday, November 30th, we will once again lead the carol sing at the annual Columbia Lions Club Holiday Gazebo Lighting starting at 5pm on the Town Green. The Columbia Leos are collecting clean, gently used winter coats, hats and mittens. Scouts BSA Troop 162 will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Columbia Food Pantry. Columbia Volunteer Fire Dept. will es**rt a special guest 🎅 to the green to help us with the lighting of both the gazebo and the tree! Hot cocoa and light refreshments will be served immediately following at Yeoman's Hall. Please join us as we share community spirit to help kick off the Holiday Season!!

Our older middle and high school aged Girl Scouts of the Jonathan Trumbull Service Unit are also currently in the beginning stages of planning their own community service project. Stay tuned for details upon their launch in the New Year. This project will involve and benefit all three towns our Scouts represent; Columbia, Lebanon and Willimantic/Windham!

It's Election Week, which means your favorite Girl Scout cookies are back for a limited time through Sunday! All varieties are $6, including the new Rocky Road-inspired Exploremores! Our troop will be at the Columbia polls today so stock up while you vote! We will also be at Walmart North Windham this Saturday from 10a-4p or while supplies last! Our sister troops are also selling this week so see the full area booth schedule below. Thank you for supporting your local Girl Scouts!

It's officially fall and the start of another Girl Scout year! Our festive scarecrow Juliette (named after our founder Juliette Gordon Low) would love to meet some new friends on our girl-led adventures this year! We also will have our famous cookies, including the brand new Rocky Road-inspired Exploremores, available at the polls this November! Thanks to our generous customers and donors during cookie season, Troop 65004 was able to show appreciation to our local first responders via Girl Scouts of Connecticut Inc.'s "Cookies for Heroes" program. Our Daisies, Brownies and Juniors created handmade cards and delivered cases of Girl Scout Cookies to the dedicated volunteers at Columbia Volunteer Fire Dept. and Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department Inc. last week. We're so grateful for the second year in a row for the chance to meet & directly thank our local heroes for helping keep our community happy, healthy and safe. Cookies for Heroes donations also helped provide cookie donations to veterans as well as active military heroes, both locally and abroad to those currently deployed.
