Just a few more days to register for Grill-it Up Tuesday this summer! Learn how to cook delicious food over the campfire or on the grill during this statewide virtual opportunity.

Get ready to fire up your cooking skills with 4‑H Grill It Up Tuesdays—a sizzling summer experience that blends outdoor cooking, food safety, and nutrition with hands‑on fun!

This four‑week virtual series builds confidence in outdoor cooking, leading up to a special in‑person cookout finale later in the summer. This program is open to 4‑H youth ages 8–18 and will be held on July 7, 14, 21, and 28.

Participants will learn the foundations of outdoor cooking while keeping safety, nutrition, and creativity front and center. Each week, participants will prepare one recipe at home with adult supervision, using a variety of outdoor cooking methods.

Earlier this month, Potter County 4-H members Baylee Hazel, Cooper Larson, and Dana Williams traveled to Penn State to participate in the 2026 Animal Science Camp. Each of them participated in the Livestock Track and learned about poultry, cows, and careers in animal science.
