Potter - Tioga Maple Producers Association Did you know that Pennsylvania's best maple products come from Potter & Tioga Counties? Our newest endeavor is the Maple Weekend: Hope to see you there.

Eighteen sugar makers from Potter and Tioga counties became the Charter Members of the organization. The association is financed mostly through the sale of syrup containers to it’s members, a good deal for both. We are also members of the Pennsylvania Maple Syrup Producers Council, The North American Maple Syrup Council and the International Maple Syrup Institute. The association partici

pates in the Potter/ Tioga Maple Festival in Coudersport , Pa. Every year in the spring, with a sales tent , also a program to select a Maple Sweetheart, also an alternate sweetheart . All school districts in the two counties are encouraged to send candidates for this competition The program was started in 1967. The local Sweetheart chosen competes for the State Maple Sweetheart Title
We also participate at the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg, Pa. and Ag Progress Days at Rock Springs with sales booths and education information. In 2001 we solicited recipes from the members of the Potter/ Tioga association and got a cookbook printed. The name of our cookbook is “MAPLE MEMORIES” This book not only contains recipes , but also the history of the Association, A list of Maple Sweethearts over the years and information about making syrup . We had the first Maple Weekend tour in 2005 .

Thanks to all of our supporters; family, friends, and customers who keep the momentum of Maple Weekend moving forward! We had a great weekend and we hope you all did too! We sure are proud of what we do and the impact Potter & Tioga maple producers have on promoting Pennsylvania maple ❤️

🍁 Maple Ambassador Week One Update! 🍁

My first week as Maple Ambassador has been such a sweet start to this journey!

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending the Galeton Christmas Craft Bazaar, where I enjoyed meeting community members, spreading maple cheer, meeting Frosty The Snowman, and supporting local makers during this festive season. ⛄️

On Sunday, I spent the day helping out at the Sunrise Maple sugarhouse—one of my favorite places to be! While there, I even got to spend some time with the Wellsboro Santa, who shared a fun fact with me…

🎅 Santa’s favorite maple sweet treat is Maple Cream!

Thank you to everyone who made this first week so special. I can’t wait to continue learning, serving, and representing our maple community throughout the year!

Hello, my name is Taylor Eldridge. I am the daughter of Mike and Paula Eldridge, owners of Sunrise Maple. I am a Junior at Cowanesque Valley High School. I stay very busy as a member of the FFA and a three sport athlete. I also help on my family’s maple farm!

As your 2025-2026 Maple Ambassador you will be hearing and seeing me all over Potter and Tioga counties. I will be out and about all year! If you see me out somewhere, don’t be afraid to stop and ask me questions, talk to me, and take pictures with me.🍁📸

Hosted at the Pennsylvania Lumber Museum, we had the pleasure of hearing from our outstanding candidate—and we are thrilled to share the results!

✨ Congratulations to Taylor Eldridge, our 2025-2026 Potter-Tioga Maple Ambassador!
We are so excited to work with her over the next year and can’t wait for you to follow along on her Maple Ambassador journey. Big things are ahead!
