🐾 Make a Difference. Become a Foster!

Sometimes, all an animal needs is a safe place to land and a little extra love.

Foster homes are essential to Verde Valley Humane Society! Fostering opens up kennel space for another animal in need and gives pets a chance to thrive outside the shelter.

VVHS may need fosters for:
🐾 Puppies and kittens too young for adoption
🐾 Animals recovering from illness or surgery
🐾 Shy, stressed, or long-term shelter residents
🐾 Seniors who would benefit from a home environment

Some animals need just a week or two, while others may need a few months. And don’t worry, VVHS provides the essentials, from food and bedding to veterinary care and ongoing support!

You provide the home and love. We’ll help with the rest.

🖤 Hi, I’m Sprout!

I may look a little spooky with my sleek black coat and big golden eyes, but I promise I’m more sweet than scary!

I’m 2 years old, which means I’m past the tiny-kitten chaos but still have plenty of playful spirit. Think of me as the purr-fect middle ground: grown-up enough to appreciate a cozy spot to curl up, but young enough to keep life fun!

This Halloween season, I’m hoping to find my forever home, someone to love, and a comfy place to put down some roots. Could that be with you?

🌱 Ready to meet me? No appointment is needed to visit me and my feline friends at Verde Valley Humane Society. We’re here Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m.–4 p.m.

🐾 Hey there, I’m Jasper!

I’m a fluffy fur ball with two sides: affectionate cuddle bug and a little bit of sass.

Long hikes? No, thank you. I walk nicely on a leash but I’m more of a stroll-around-the-neighborhood-then-curl-up-on-the-couch kind of guy.

I’ve been at the shelter a little longer than I’d like, and I’m ready to trade kennel life for a cozy home of my own. I’d do best as your one and only four-legged friend, and I’m good with kids over 12!

Sound like your kind of guy? I’m ready to hog all your attention, so let’s make it official!

📞 Call Verde Valley Humane Society at 928-634-7387 to meet me.

Love and fluffy cuddles,
Jasper
