How God Reveals His Will (Part 2)

No Spectacular Signs Needed: We often overthink God's will, expecting shooting stars or voices from the clouds. Instead, God directs us through the normal, everyday aspects of life.
He's our Divine "GPS": When we feel lost or confused about our direction, God provides a guidance system to keep us on the right path.

1. Spiritual Leaders (The Co-Pilots): God guides us through biblical authority figures like parents, mentors, and pastors. Listening to their wisdom protects us from making costly mistakes (Hebrews 13:17, 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13).

2. Our Talents (The Engine): God implants unique skills and passions within us. Using these gifts to serve others drives us directly into His purpose (1 Peter 4:10).

3. Prophecy (The Road Signs): God uses serious godly counsel and prophetic insights to warn us about upcoming dangers and rough patches ahead (1 Timothy 4:14, Acts 11:27-29).

4. Circumstances & Wisdom (Open Doors): God opens sudden doors of opportunity (1 Cor. 16:8-9). We do not always need mystical dreams to move forward; using common sense and sound judgment is enough to step through.

God's plan is not a massive secret or an impossible puzzle. In reality, He has already laid out the signs by giving us people to guide us, talents to drive us, and wisdom to make right decisions.

What "Stones" has the enemy tried to roll against you to trap you in your tomb? You may feel trapped, facing things that seem huge. But the truth is God has won victory in our lives.

An important point, as the woman walked to his tomb they wondered how they would move the stone, but as they thought this and in reality as they walked, God had already planned and moved the stone. Once they arrived, it was out of the way. What stones are we worried about moving that God has already moved for us?

In this we see that God showing us that death has no say. What has seemed so final, now has no power over us our our lives. Let us walk with this courage and confidence

The Temptation of Jesus: Victory in the Wilderness

When Jesus was at His weakest, physically, after fasting for 40 days, the enemy attacked Him with three universal temptations. His victory gives us the ultimate blueprint for overcoming our own struggles:

1. The Appetite (Stones to Bread): The enemy tempted Jesus to prioritize physical desires. Jesus chose reliance on God's Word.

2. The Pride (The Temple Jump): The enemy tempted Jesus to test God's love and demand a sign. Jesus chose absolute trust.

3. The Power (Kingdoms of the World): The enemy offered a shortcut to glory without the cross. Jesus chose undivided worship.

Jesus didn’t fight the enemy with arguments; He fought with Scripture ("It is written..."). When you are exhausted and under attack, don't rely on your own strength; lean on the truth of God's Word.
"The enemy offers shortcuts to what God has already promised, usually when you are at your weakest. Stand firm, use the Word, and remember: the victory is already yours!"

Lessons from the Potter’s House, Jeremiah 18:1-6

Potter’s House teaches that God is the Potter and we are the clay in His hands. Just as a potter carefully shapes clay into a useful vessel, God also molds, disciplines, and transforms our lives according to His perfect will.

1. The Potter has a mission - God takes people who are broken, sinful, and seemingly worthless, and by His grace transforms them into vessels of honor for His glory. Like clay that must go through cleansing and preparation before becoming useful, people also go through a spiritual process before they are changed by God.

2. The Potter instruments - The potter uses several instrument/tools to bring the clay to a place where it is usable.
a. Shovel - represents the conviction of the Holy Spirit that draws sinners to Christ.
b. Mallet - represents trials, struggles, and discipline that remove weaknesses and strengthen faith.
c. Wheels - symbolize the changing situations of life.
d. Potter’s hands - represent God’s constant guidance, care, and presence in every circumstance.

Even while in the Potter’s hands, the vessel can become marred or damaged. This shows how believers can fail, lose balance, or fall into sin. However, God does not throw the clay away. Instead, He patiently reshapes and restores it. Through correction and discipline, He continues working until the vessel becomes useful again.

The lesson also reminds us that God has complete control over the clay. The Potter decides what kind of vessel the clay will become, and the clay’s responsibility is to surrender and submit to His will. True blessing comes when believers fully yield their lives to God and allow Him to lead.

It teaches us to trust God’s process even when life is painful or confusing. God never gives up on His people. He continues to mold us with love and patience so that we may become vessels of honor that reflect the image of Jesus Christ and bring glory to Him.

Who is God? Genesis 1 and 3

The Creator - What are the attribute of God?
1. God is Holy
2. Loving
3. Merciful
4. Powerful
5. Righteous

Why did God drive out Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden? They did not obey God and ate the fruit. They were tempted by the serpent and listened to what the devil say rather than obeying God. These answers were shared by the kids of our Bayaoas Children's ministry.
