Y.E.S. The Arc is now accepting donations for our Annual Holiday Dinner Dance Raffle & Silent Auction on Saturday, December 19!

We're looking for items that will excite our guests while helping us raise funds to support programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community.

Some great donation ideas include:

Y.E.S. The Arc is working to maintain and improve our spaces so the people we support can continue to learn, work, and thrive in safe, well-kept environments. We are currently looking for support with a few specific items that will make a big impact in our daily operations.

Our current needs include:
• Stihl w**d eater (or similar) with attachments (w**d trimmer, hedge trimmer, brush cutter, chain saw pruner)
• Dishwasher for one of our residential settings
• 5 Hula Ho Weeder Cultivators

These items directly support our programs by helping us maintain outdoor spaces, improve kitchen functionality, and create more opportunities for hands-on learning and skill-building.

March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day.

The date represents the triplication of the 21st chromosome, which is what causes Down syndrome. This day is recognized around the world to raise awareness and promote the rights, inclusion, and well-being of people with Down syndrome.

At Y.E.S. The Arc, we believe every person deserves respect, opportunity, and the ability to fully participate in their community. Today we celebrate the contributions, talents, and voices of individuals with Down syndrome and the families and advocates who support them.

Together, we can continue building communities where everyone is valued and included.

There is still time to support Y.E.S. The Arc and receive the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit for the 2025 tax year.

Arizona taxpayers can donate to a Qualifying Charitable Organization and receive a dollar-for-dollar credit on their Arizona state income taxes.

For the 2025 tax year, you can donate up to:

$495 for individuals
$987 for married couples filing jointly

Donations made anytime in 2025 or before April 15, 2026 can still be claimed on your 2025 Arizona tax return.

This means you can support programs that serve individuals with disabilities in our community while reducing what you owe in Arizona state taxes. Visit https://yesthearc.org/donate/ to make your donation today!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Y.E.S. The Arc.

Today is a good time to reflect on the strength of community. Y.E.S. The Arc was founded by families in the Verde Valley who believed that individuals with disabilities deserve respect, opportunity, and a place where they belong.

We are grateful to the individuals, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners who continue that mission today. Your support helps ensure that people with disabilities in our community have the resources and opportunities they deserve.
